Password woes

Trying to complete a online lender shop. The website password requirements are complex, but it needs to have at least one special character.

As I typed in my combination the requirements greyed out as they were satisfied. However, even though mine had a special character the site refused to recognize that. I added another character and got the same result. I copied and pasted the string of acceptable characters into a Word document, added letters and numbers in between them, then pasted it back into the website. It STILL wasn't acceptable!

I haven't heard back from the scheduler yet. Wonder what she'll have to say about something so out of her control.

Not all special characters are allowed. Try removing the initial special character in the password.

Eventually I ended up trying three different browsers on two different computers and always got the same result. Per scheduler request I chatted with the website help desk, who had to put in a ticket to the Technical department. I'm frustrated that I have so much time in on this shop, but feel vindicated that it wasn't something I did wrong!
