Final Receipt show paid in cash?

I was about to sign up for a shop, when I saw a warning I have never seen before-- "YOU ARE REQUIRED TO GET THE FINAL RECEIPT AFTER PAYING THAT SHOWS YOU PAID IN CASH."

I've never received a check, paid cash, and then received a receipt showing I paid in cash. Is this a real thing? You ask for a receipt that shows you paid in cash? Really? Never heard of this.

I've never asked for a second receipt showing the cash payment for a restaurant tab, but I'm sure it could be done. I need it for an expense report is probably a reasonable enough request.
The same way your receipt shows that you paid with a credit card, it will show that you paid with cash.

I don't see this as an issue. If I pay in cash,, pretty much anywhere, the receipt will show what you gave in cash, and what your change was.
I have completed approximately 15 shops at the eatery in question; the receipt will show you paid in cash. It is my opinion the comment is there to caution a shopper not to use a credit card.
If this is a bar shop at a national chain, yes, I've seen that requirement. Last time I did it, I just said I needed a receipt to submit for work expenses. (They should have given it to me automatically even if it was cash, but they didn't.)
It's also a way to make sure the transaction is fully recorded in the system. I've done some of these. It's not always easy to get the receipt and they frequently don't print it again.
Yes. This is a real thing. Especially when it comes to expensing for per diem. It’s not a farfetched thing for people to ask for.
