Shell Shops

If you do one of these with a restaurant like Burger King do you have to take photos inside the resturant?

I do not think the LOA covers that and they usually operate under a different corporation and management. I usually supply a different food pic such as a roller grill or cooler with sandwiches in it.
It seems they used to want a picture inside the restaurant - I had been told that a couple of times by editors. But more recently they tell me to submit a photo of any of the food offers, even when there is a restaurant (after I submit a wrong photo, for instance.) I still do the restaurant photo out of habit, but I try to be covert about it.
I do not, for the food offering picture I take a picture of the coffee prep area with a wide angle, and try to get a picture of the sign or a door into the restaurant from the inside of the shell station. If I can't get all of it, I take a picture of the coffee prep area inside the shell station and leave it at that. But I will also take an extra picture of the door or a sign for the restaurant inside the shell station in case someone asks. Back when we could upload more than one picture in the food offering I would upload both.
It is my information we do not have to comment beyond something like, "The convenience store includes a QSR." I usually name it in the paragraph comment. There is a question on the Shell survey that asks if there is a QSR present as well. Take a wide pic/landscape to include the common area and you may note if overflowing garbage or excess debris in this space is observed. You do not include the food available within the QSR in the food inquiry questions in the survey. Only include what is available outside the QSR.
