I saw this article and immediately thought mystery shopper. What do you folks think? What would you do if you were outed so publicly?

I saw that a few days ago and it never occurred to me she might be doing a shop lolol. You may be right...or is she a Shopping Karen???

Who else waits 50 minutes to buy a single cheap item, while timing the process?

She might be one of us and she might not. I just think the TikToker was extremely rude.

HoneyBrown, *good* shoppers are discrete. But I've seen my share of lazy shoppers. I'm sure you have too.

That is exactly why I have a cover on my phone, I open it, look, close it. No one can see what is on my phone screen but me.

I don't take those kinds of shops in December. As for timing I start the stopwatch app, stick the phone in my back pocket, and don't pull it out again except to Lap or Pause. And even then I act like I'm reading a text that just came in.

In a non-shop, I would totally time something like that just for the amusement factor of seeing how long it would take.

But really, so what? Did she make a scene over the wait? Maybe she she made a bet with her spouse over how long it would take?

Maybe she was checking the time because she only had 52 minutes before having to leave for an appointment.
