Sonic

This is not specifically about a shop, Just Sonic in general. Everyone knows Sonic and can recognize their bright red and yellow signage everywhere. BUT have any f you seen the Blue Sonics. I saw my first one about a month ago, now I am seeing others. Same lettering, same signage... Just bright blue and white. Very neat looking. Are these something special? A different type Sonic? and will these also be shopped?
Is anyone seeing them anywhere other than Dallas?

I saw one in Foley, Alabama a couple of weeks ago. I was down there about a year ago and their Sonic had been damaged by winds, I'm not sure if it was Hurricane related or not, but I'm guessing when they replaced it they went to blue. Maybe new branding?

Probably just changing their look. Church's chicken and some Popeyes have changed. When Taco Bell changed to new signage I thought I just had the bad luck of passing some really old ones because the new signs look washed out and faded. Even though they're new. Best Western has adopted the ugliest, boring signage I've seen. It makes the chain look industrial and not somewhere that you would get a night's rest. Ya gotta wonder, who thought this was a good idea?

not sure how Dunkin' is a bad name? A little anachronistic maybe, as I guess people don't customarily dunk their doughnuts in coffee anymore, but the name made sense when the chain was new. And at this point it wouldn't make sense to change.

Dunkin' might not be as obviously questionable as that convenience store chain - Kum & Go. I kid you not.
