What are rating scores based on?

I did a gas station shop, made some mistakes and got a score of "3" My lowest ever. I've done these shops before and got scores of 5 to 7. Are the scores the opinion of the editor? or is there some kind of math score? Do they take into account how quickly you fix mistakes. I get paid anyway for the shop. One shop I got knocked down for not including the apostrophe in the company name.

If it's the MSC that has multiple gas clients, they have a tutorial somewhere on the site explaining the system, but generally it is based on the amount of errors and the seriousness of the errors. If you are getting these scores, even a 5 and a 7, I would look through the guidelines again and really look at the type of feedback you are getting back from editors (if you are getting it, at all). Try to learn from your mistakes. Don't take this the wrong way, but I pretty much always get a 10, with an occasional 9, on these shops. So, if this is the same MSC, I suggest going through the guidelines again, and going slower while on site, and on the report. Not including an apostrophe in the company name may seem simple, but is akin to making a typo on their name, entirely.
My question is who sets the scores? Like I said, One shop I got knocked down for not including the apostrophe in the company name.
This is a good question. Do the editors give the scores, or do they merely report on how well or poorly the shopper has met requirements and reported their experiences?

As for the missing apostrophe, ask yourself this: How would you feel if someone always called you johnny974 even though you had attempted to correct them? "Hey, johnny974!" "Look, everyone! johnny974 is asking a question that an editor or other MSC representative can answer!'

Missing an apostrophe is not personal, the name of a person is. But still my question is, who decides what the score is?
A business name is as important to a business as your personal name is to you.

Just had one shop sent back because the editor said there was a 2 minute time difference between what I posted and the time shown on the picture. I go by the time on one clock, which might be different from the time on the picture. Not one other editor has ever made this an issue. The guidelines don't make it an issue.
Are you using a cell phone to take the photo? If so, it saves GPS location data and the time in the metadata and (perhaps) superimposed on the photo itself. The time a cell phone reports is very accurate since it is the basis for determining GPS coordinates. You should, IMHO, adjust your watch, the clock in your car, the clock on the wall in your kitchen, etc. to the cell phone time,

Edit to change geoverify to GPS location data and to add a sentence for clarity.

Geoverify is required for this shop. From now on I'll use the picture time for the start of the shop
