Pet store price audit???

I just signed up for one, mostly because of the fee that is associated with it.I'm a little intimidated because of all the paperwork that seems to be included with the shop. Has anyone done these before.

There are different shops that audit pet stores. The one most infamous provides the shopper with several pages of UPCs and product names. The instructions are to either (1) find the matching product and record the price if the item is on sale, or (2) find the matching product and record the price. Store employees need to stay out of your way while you work as covertly as possible, armed with printouts, cell phone, camera, DVR, etc.

If the store is small with less inventory, that makes it quicker to check for prices. However, it can make it more difficult to work discreetly. The assumption is that this is a competitor shop. In my opinion, it is not an easy shop. I've done only a handful of them, 2 different MSPs, at different locations. It's not a shop I would ever do again without a boatload of money.
I done them. I hate them. I'm sometimes tempted to take them because of the fee, but have to remind myself it's just not really worth it.

I receive this particular offer every month. It really looks quite difficult. If you go into a store and spend that much time. The manager of the pet store, could think you are a competitor and throw you out of the store.

Which is cause for a celebration!
I did it once. Never again, no matter how much money. The store I was sent to was a small neighborhood store and they had a vendor in at a demo table. The only problem I was the only one in the store and the demo man didn't stay at his table. He followed me around talking and asking questions and drove me nuts. It took me forever and I said never again!
I thought the pay was a joke considering the requirements. When I clicked on the link in the email to read the actually posting on the MSC website, most of the stores in my area were already scheduled. I just shook my head.
I attempted to do this shop once and had to cancel it. It was in a small neighborhood store and for some reason there were 4 or 5 employees working. They definitely thought I was up to something. Even if no one had been in the store and I could have just walked around writing numbers it would have taken me at least an hour because so many things were on sale. I was in the store for 20 minutes and only able to get 3 or 4 items written covertly because the employees were so attentive. The only shop I have ever had to cancel!
I did one once. Lists were involved, and you had to look for items that were on sale. I thought it would be easier because it was a small store, but it wasn't at all. I was very uncomfortable, and I wound up leaving before finishing the entire list. I actually sent a friend in to complete the shop for me, and split the fee.

Needless to say, I would not touch one of these again with a 10 foot pole.
Are we talking about a company that begins with the letter "A" here? I want to say the name but don't think I should. Anyway, if I am right, does this company do pet store/audits only?
The worst shop I ever took. Mine was at a huge national chain store. I wasn't bothered by employees but I had hundreds of items to write down. It took two visits of about 2-3 hours each. The shop was accepted and I was paid but it basically was a soul-sucking work.
