I did one of these at an airport location before the pandemic and vowed never to do one again. Like you I had to ask some question no other customer would probably ask and in addition had to ask a second question of a different person where they had to get out their manual and show me a page. On top of that it was in a huge international terminal with a long walk and the pay was not commensurate with the annoyance. I think where I live they are still with that same company but the email says the report has changed somewhat.
Yes, sandyf. Searching my memory, the last one I did resulted in the same. I believe we had to ask dumb allergy questions, forcing he manager to come out with a binder to look up the information. Hello? Mystery shopper here. Never again.
Where I live they are with a different company. The fee and reimbursement are the same. We now have a choice of inquiries, including some that a regular customer might ask. There are fewer questions on the form and a lot less redundancy. The maze array of time of day versus number of products versus number of items has been made less complex. An easier shop to do.
