Ghost Kitchen Shops .... Ghosted?

I haven't seen them since the new year. The one MSC that had a ton of shops for a major Ghost Kitchen company that had several brands they wanted shopped through the likes of DASH, UBER and GH. Is it just my area, or did that Ghost Kitchen company finally run out of funding? The food was not so great, but it got me to UberEats Gold status...

I've been lucky enough to be by a George Lopez shop, and yes, they're still around my area. Unfortunately there's no wiz khalifa location by me. The George Lopez tacos have actually been pretty tasty.

HotBox by Wiz Khalifa store is still shopped. So is George Lopez taco store.
Yeah and neither in my delivery area, even though I'm right on NYC's doorstep darn it.
The company that had the ghost kitchens lost it in December. I have not seen them listed with any other company so they probably got the information they needed in the several months the contract was active. The ghost company was mentioned yesterday on NPR news as a multi billion dollar company so I don’t think they have disappeared.

Yup, that's the company I was thinking of. Parking lot dumpster fires with vc funding.. Still sad to see them not being shopped. They had a lot of quality control issues....
A philosophical question on the Wiz Khalifa shops: This enterprise is clearly targeted to stoners with the munchies. I don't shop buzzed or high, so would I really be giving them the feedback they're looking for? I'd be judging their delivery service/food as a sober person, which is not their intended clientele. It's neither here nor there to me personally but it seems they're asking for advice from people who wouldn't normally buy from them. Except maybe for stoned shoppers and what are those reports going to look like? smiling smiley
Hahah! I never really thought about it that way. But from a food service perspective, service quality in it's various dimensions, still matter. Presumably, they are paying a mystery shopping company to measure stuff that they believe that their customers care about. If they're asking you to measure certain things, then that's what the company cares about, and thinks its customers care about.

I understand what you're saying and don't disagree with any of it, but the conundrum still exists. Wiz's enterprise will either get reports from people who will not be experiencing his product in the "sense-and-setting" he's targeting, or he's getting it from people who will submit impaired shop reports. I guess the MSC could give high shoppers extra time but that would probably just make it worse (gosh-DARN this short-term memory loss!). grinning smiley

Again, no big deal. I'm just amused.
Both the whiz and the tacos are being shopped in the OKC metro right now.

I LITERALLY did a shop geared toward stoners -was hard up for money- and I had no idea what was going on. I’m sure I stuck out like a sore thumb. The MSC came back and asked a bunch of follow up questions (but they’re probably not stoners either) and my shop was accepted and I was paid. I kept the product for some reason.
I'm doing a taco one in Chicago right now. It's definitely not the best tacos, but it's good enough to shop.

I don't smoke either. I don't know if I had a bad batch or what but my food was disgusting. I did enjoy the cookies. The tots were just okay but that mac and yellow was gross. My friend said the chicken sandwich was nasty too lol
Jesus. "Mac and yellow?!" Lol not even close decent enough to be considered cheese?! Hahahah!
I guess you're not familiar with Wiz Khalifa? He's a rapper and had a popular song called, "black and yellow". Mac and Yellow is a play on his song.
