Whole Foods Delivery Shop

Good to know. You can also make a basic meatball with the ground beef + milk + eggs.

I was getting tired of coming up with recipes for 1/2 lb. of ground beef for 3 people in my family and ordered a full pound last time and my score got knocked down to 9 because of it.

Second to None has a national grocery chain. The reimbursement is $9, but there are a lot of them every month, and the survey is really easy, with no commentary. Those are first come first served on the job board. It seems like the Whole Foods one are all given to regular shoppers already, and they seem to have backup shoppers pre-trained for each market too. From time to time, they'll post a call for new backup shoppers.

Hi there, These shops sound interesting! I'd love to get more grocery or other online ordering shops on my rotation. Does any one have recommendations for companies to try? The companies I've signed up with so far are mostly in the restaurant, gas station/convenience store industries, with some retail here and there. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
I'm enjoying purchasing other items besides the dish soap and the all purpose cleaner.

I've purchased glass cleaner, tile cleaner and hand soap. Next stop I'm going to try the body wash or fruit & vegetable cleaner.

Relatively new here, but a couple of years into mystery shopping. First, it seems to be against the rules or poor etiquette to ask the MSC. Why is that? Is it that sharing the MSC will reduce the number of jobs per shopper? Second, if I shouldn't ask, is there a way to find out? Google didn't help much.

I recently joined a new MSC because someone gave me a hint/clue to the MSC for Texas Roadhouse and I have gotten a lot of work from them so always looking for new MSCs.

Thanks for any help!

I still am doing them with a frequency of every other week or so. I still love it! I doubt my backup shopper will ever get a chance to step in. I'm doing the pickup shops and the reimbursement still covers the full amount. I can't imagine what the economics are like with the delivery shops though. I've also been able to test out the range of the cleaners that are accepted. I've gotten body wash and now shampoo approved so that's a bonus. I've started to make a ton of yogurt with the milk and that's been fun. With the chicken I now regularly make homemade chicken stock and that's been fantastic. May I ask why you're getting bored with it?

It's usually in the independent contractor agreement that you won't disclose the client MSC relationship. Are there certain types of companies that you're looking for if you give me an idea I can try to drop some hints.
That makes sense! I didn't think about that. I'm interested in the Whole Foods shops. I shop for about 6-8 companies and may already shop for this MSC and they just don't shop Whole Foods in my area. Thanks!!!

Nope love getting the $ shaved off my grocery bill with quality products. I use all the products on a regular basis except the ice cream (I'll eat but try not to indulge in it too much).

I do wish there was a variety rotation sometimes, if that is what you mean. But sometimes I get a little luck thrown my way. My last shop was a Sunday pick-up. When I ordered there was no chicken thighs or breast. Also no ground beef. The only ground pork available was spicy Italian sausage. For the chicken, ended up having to order marinated tequila-lime chicken wings.

For the bread , I mix it up between sliced bread, rolls/buns for hamburgers, hotdogs or sandwiches. Sometimes I even buy the frozen style. As others have mentioned, also mix up the cleaner with other options. The key they look for is that it has a spout so it can still be tested on packaging, leakage, etc.

The whole foods shops are with the same company that does a national burger chain that requires tacos. Though sign ups are no longer offered on the job board as they get assigned to shoppers that had to go through a pre-screen and quizzes. I think that over time, as current regulars drop out, eventually they'll put a call out for new shoppers at some point.

Have you signed up with the MSC that shops Kroger and their competitors' locations?

Man, I got dinged for ordering English muffins. Haven't dare try buns ot rolls, let alone frozen bread products....
Yes, I have done Kroger shops and competitor shops and love them! I enjoy free restaurant meals, but really prefer padding my grocery budget with free groceries. I don't think I've seen a burger shop that requires tacos, although I know which restaurant that likely is. I'm registered with a couple of MSCs that required quizzes, but don't think I'm with any that did a pre-screen. You've peaked my interest. I'll do some digging! Thanks!

Buns and rolls are specially listed in the guidelines as approved.
Really you ordered shampoo? I will have to try that as I am collecting too many cleaning products. But shampoo is probably more expensive than the alloted amount?

Yup - I figured I would give it a try since I've been getting perfect scores on the evaluations, that I had a little bit of leeway to experiment. There's a 16oz 365 line of shampoos that's just over $5 a bottle in my area.
Lol, even as a kid in school, I had "follow the rules" anxiety, and a compulsion to follow them to the letter (well, mostly). So I felt all daring when i bought a half gallon of skim milk instead of whole or 2%. Body wash and shampoo would have been entirely outside my comfort zone! But I'll give it a try as I already have 3 dish soaps on hand, and their 365 all-purpose cleaner *did* leak.

But i do wish theyd give us a nice, long, varied list of acceptable products. It would also help make us less identifiable as shoppers. I mean, who buys a half pound of ground beef over and over? And *one* yogurt and *one* little container of ice cream, yet a whole dozen eggs week after week?!
For the cleaning supply section, I assumed that they were trying to test that if you bought some liquid soap or cleaner that it would be bagged properly and wouldn't leak into any food product. Using that as a guide, I've ordered shampoo, hand soap, and liquid dishwashing detergent (in addition to the pictured items in the guide) and have never had a reviewer question them.
I'm a pescetarian so I don't eat the chicken or beef. I really want to order some fish. Plus I only drink non-dairy milk. I do eat cheese, eggs, yogurt, ice cream and enjoy the cleaning products now that I've started ordering a variety of items.

Since the ground beef comes from the meat department, I don't see why they can't let us purchase fish or shrimp by the pound too.

I'm going to try ordering liquid dish washer detergent next.

I don't drink the milk - I make yogurt out of it. If you have an InstantPot, it's super easy. The yogurt in the shop is not great as a starter. But the Yoplait Oui brand makes a nice thick curd.
The weirdest thing just happened. I was getting ready to place an order for Whole Foods for tomorrow 7/20 delivery and put items in my cart. I’m laying in my bed this morning and the door bell rings. It’s Amazon with a delivery from Whole Foods! I’m like what!! I’m thinking did I place my order yesterday by mistake? Told the driver I didn’t place the order. She said maybe someone gave me a gifted order. ???? Turns out they delivered someone’s order to me. Must have pulled down my name and address by mistake. Maybe a neighbor in my Apt complex. My credit card wasn’t charged. Someone didn’t get their order.

Called the store. Order can’t be returned. Keep the food. So I thanked them for the order of portobello mushrooms, oatmeal, avocado, onions, hamburger buns, quinoa, black beans, beets sweet potatoes, cumin and paprika. Someone very healthy eating habits.

I just placed my order for delivery tomorrow morning. Will be interesting if I get the same delivery person!
Hope no one gets reprimanded.

Whow that wad a nice score !
Has anyone ever been successful in ordering dinner rolls instead of hamburger/hotdog buns or sliced bread? I’m getting kind of upset with the shops because as someone mentioned, the price of food has increased yet they only reimburse us up to the same $50 for our groceries. My total almost always exceeds the amount even when I get the smallest priced item. Now when I order chicken it doesn’t even allow me to choose how many pounds I want-it asked me how many packages I want. And don’t let it have a substitution-that just adds to my price.

I'm laughing over here because that is typically my grocery shopping list on a regular basis. One or two containers of yogurt a week, half a pound of ground meat, a loaf of bread and whatever shampoo or cleaning product I ran out of the prior week. We eat quite a few eggs so it's not unusual for me to order a dozen or two a week. Maybe I should pick up more of these ????
Just wanted to let you know so that you will not drive yourself crazy trying to find these Whole Food shops that they were offered as a one year contract to the shoppers. The year is not yet over but unless a shopper decides to quit this job you will not see them advertised at all. It is not a matter of favorites getting all these shops but those who agreed to take them for a year are still taking them.

Can’t believe that the new round is right in the middle of Labor Day weekend!
