Is anyone else going to the IMSC conference in Phoenix next month? Just curious. I am. Of course, I'm building a route for the drive down there and back!

I am not going there. I applaud someone for scheduling Phoenix in February rather than July. *prostrate, stricken with heat stroke emoji goes here* Eventually, I will get to some conference or other.

LOL I found one Drury Inn shop, it was taken but I asked to back up!!

I will report back. It will be my first conference for mystery shopping. I debated going to the MSPA Florida cruise conference, but decided this one would be a better way to see if I like the conferences or not. Plus, I have good friends who live about five minutes from the hotel, so I get to see them, too.

Ideagirl, my observation is that you get the most from a mystery shopping conference if you go early in your mystery shopping career.

Thanks for that. I've been shopping pretty steady since 2018, making full time money since 2020 (after the shops started picking up). I'm interested to see what they have to offer.

I have attended 10+ IMSC conferences and ALWAYS came away with at least one new idea and/or contact that boosted my MS net income in coming years! Face-time with schedulers and MSC owners it priceless, regardless of how long you have been doing MS. I will not be at this conference because of Covid, since I am in a very high risk category. Enjoy and be sure to hang out and chat with as many attendees at possible. Even if you drink only ice tea, the after-hours gatherings in the bar are rich sources of contacts.

I've attended once as a shopper, and again as a MSC rep.
When I attended as a shopper I gained more from catching up on sleep napping in my hotel room than any information given by speakers at the conference.
Deep diving into this forum, reading and reading and reading some more will **likely** net you just add much knowledge as a conference.
Everyone is different, but this is my personal experience.
