Mattress Shops

It's been a really long time since I've done a mattress shop - way before Covid. I'm going to ask for a bonus because I remember them being torture, plus same employees rotating stores. Has anyone done one recently?

I do them here and there for MF with nice bonuses when I'm on a route or sometimes local. I would never do one for the low starting fee..more like $25-$50. I find them easy and a great place to take a load off my tired legs..hahaha. Reports are simple, imho

I did a bonused one for The Consumer Insight last week. The report changed and is more straightforward with 2 sections of narrative.

I did two for White Clay and actually enjoyed them, even though one store failed miserably. You don't have to do a bed match, thank goodness! MF's are pretty easy, too, unless you have to wait to be helped. But I won't take any of them for less than $25--due to some having the bed match and some having to wait for an ungodly amount of time to be helped..

I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I did one for intellishop for $62, and it was well worth it that amount. I wouldn't do it for less than 40 though, and that's if there is no travel
If it is an assignment with a target, especially for a client who has rotating employees, you must have at least $40. I have completed a few for White Clay at $30, but they were target free, a round trip of 15 miles and in a heavily commercial area where other jobs were available,

The only disastrous mattress shop of my 19 years was for Jancyn. The visit, report and drive time came in at 2 hrs. 20 mins. for $38. I was then informed my fee would be reduced by $10; this due to an unacceptably brief report. I timed the report at slightly longer than an hour. I requested, but was not given my deactivation. All correspondence from them now goes to SPAM.
Just did two Mattress Shops for them - picked them off of iSS. They told me six to eight weeks to get paid. That seems way outside of reasonable. Anyone had any other experiences getting paid [or not] by them?
