I recently saw a shop where there's a requirement to go into the store and make a purchase with the cashier, using your contactless credit card at the payment terminal....ok, but the photo requirements? You have to take a photo of the purchasing area and each screen during the payment process. This is a gas station. I was trying to picture myself taking photos while the cashier and other customers stand and watch. They'd be thinking I was a criminal, staking out the joint. I don't get this. How do you take photos in front of people but not have that signal that you are NOT a typical customer?
I took video then, later, stopped the recording at each new touchpoint and took a screenshot of it, as suggested in the instructions. Time consuming, as it was something new for me, but it worked out.
So no one thought it odd that you were recording the whole event? where I live they'd call the cops for anyone recording near an ATM or payment terminal...lol.
The phone was at an angle where others could not see my screen. I just pretended that I was enthralled with whatever I was reading/watching on my phone.
Apparently I am too honest lol - and concerned about holding up the line...there are always lines around here at all the gas stations - I guess I could try late at night ...nah, not worth it for that amount lol
The camera on my phone has a thing called "single take" it takes a series of pictures without having to press the button more than once. I hit it accidentally a LOT, but it might come in handy for this shop...
As already suggested, take a video. Or set your camera app so that you can tap the screen anywhere, then tap it every few seconds, glancing at it occasionally to ensure that it's still aimed at the pay terminal screen.
