Yes but mostly things like a comped meal at a nice restaurant where I do not then collect reimbursement. I cannot just go home and come back to do the shop another time as those are usually on a selected date. And then sometimes the usually very nice server will leave something off the bill "on purpose".

Not on shops. But I remember after a shop there was a $20 bill on the floor in a market hall at my favorite nyc train station. People were walking all over the poor thing. I rescued it. That was about 12 years ago. I still have it!

No but I lost $10 today. I usually pay cash for the in store purchase of a gas station and i took in a $20 to buy water. Stuffed the change in my pocket and the next time $10 was gone. I don't know if i lost it or the clerk gave me the wrong change.
I found a $50 bill on the floor at a gas station in NY state once. Ran outside to ask the customer that was leaving if he'd dropped some money. Liar said he'd lost a $20. Went back inside in time to hear the customer at the register saying he'd mowed a lawn and was expecting to be paid $20, but all the elderly customer had was a fifty dollar bill and asked him to bring the change back. That customer was all but crying about losing that $50 bill. He did cry when I handed it to him. So glad that liar outside hadn't said he'd dropped a fifty.
Liars are sad people.
Post offices have been a treasure trove from abandoned gift bags to a half sheet of first class stamps.
Yes, I have!! Generally, I find pieces of used chewing gum and on lucky days, a penny

Found fours dollars once on a shop. Kept it. Once found a sterling silver ring with an emerald at a gas pump. Once found a tiny bag of dope.(Straight to the trash can.) Outside of shopping, I once found a $50 bill at a gas station where nobody was around. I went about my business, and a few minutes later an elderly woman arrived and said her husband had lost $50 and asked if I had seen it. I gave it to her. The very next day at the same station I found a $100 bill in a less travelled part of the lot. No customers were around at all. I kept that.
