IIRC, a lot of Android call recording apps stopped working correctly after Android 10 came out. The situation got better with the newer Android versions, and then Google announced it was banning third-party call-recording apps from the Google Play store effective 5/11. I don't know what is happening with that ban because I still see various call-recording apps in the Play store.

Some phones have a built-in call-recording app. If yours doesn't, I would suggest you just try different apps and see if they work for you and your phone. You may have to use the speakerphone though. Some apps act weird if you try to record calls without using the speakerphone.
If you are going to use the speakerphone anyway, why not use your computer to make the call with Google Voice or some other free program, and record the conversation using a regular voice recording app? Less likely for glitches, such as capturing only your end of the conversation.)

It is an android phone. I am not sure which one. I can record but then I would have to be on speaker phone.
