Nikki A. - rude, condescending, unhelpful, ethically challenged. Oh, and she bragged about how her desk was made from wood salvaged from slave quarters- so tone-deaf, just gross.

When she needed me to do a non-bonused shop I had done in the past with a big bonus, she inundated my inbox with e-mails. One of which actually said "are you getting my e-mails?". I didn't respond because I feel if I don't have something worth saying I'm not clogging up someone's inbox.

I tried to reschedule a Monday shop until today with her via the contact on the job board. Today, I get an e-mail stating that I was rated a 1 because I had not performed the shop as scheduled.

Is she not reading her e-mails?

Nope Rosie, that was retaliation for not answering her emails. She has done worse for "perceived" insults to other people. In the way back machine she would say she was extending a date on a shop, but not actually change the date in the system, so that when you go to do it, you will get called out by the editing staff for not doing the shop when you were supposed to. It was because of her that i now keep ALL of my coorespondence with schedulers.

I've done a few shops and never had an issue. I think people get annoyed by the emails for shops. He does sometimes send out a lot that are nowhere near you or are things you aren't qualified for in your profile (I.E, a cell phone shop for a particular company that you're not with and its in your profile which company you have).
There's a handful of companies that will cast their email net far and wide though for a super hard to fill shop. I'm in the midwest and have gotten emails for shops in wyoming. Its just when they are desperate and I delete the email and move on.
Joe Sidders was the first scheduler I ever worked with, and I’ve never had any problems with him. He replies within minutes, never makes snide remarks if I ask for an extension (like some schedulers do), and always seems friendly and professional.
There have been two schedulers who were each my personal least-favorite scheduler for a time, but the issues have been worked through and one I enjoy working with, and one I miss because he no longer schedules for the same project.
I can’t imagine my current least-favorite scheduler ever moving from that position because there are bigger issues involved like her dishonesty and lack of taking responsibility (“‘they’ don’t want me to let you have an extension,” even though I received an extension on the same project from another scheduler and it’s a week before deadline), inconsistency with communication, not reading an entire email, etc. But though I have complained about her in another thread, I’m not sure this thread is really set up to be a place to warn others or talk about what makes a good or bad scheduler or be productive.
I will, however, call out someone who I believe is still a scheduler for a few projects even though she’s also a project manager, who in her short stint as a PM (not sure exactly when she started) has overseen a decrease in bonuses at the same time as there’s nearly 9% inflation and with the gas reimbursement covering less, and the store reimbursement now barely covering a lollipop in some stores. $1.50 bonus is a huge insult and is making me look harder for other work, either with other mystery shopping companies, or leaving the field.
So my personal “winner” is, Susan Delgado.
Absolutely not.

You belong only on the "kudos and shout outs" thread.

As to the comments of cruelty, an old adage clearly states, "If the shoe fits, wear it." In my 19+ yrs. in this business, I have always understood the shopper/scheduler relationship. They had/have a job to perform and must pay allegiance to their specific MSC. Said shops entail extracting the greatest level of work, for the lowest possible expenditure. To date. there has only been a single scheduler from whom I refuse to accept work: Nikki Adkins or Atkins.
I guess I've been very lucky. I've been shopping since 2011 and I've never had a rude scheduler, or if I did, I cannot recall. If someone's rude to you, let it go. Don't let their negativity rent space in your head. Also, I think this topic is pretty childish and petty. No need to call out schedulers, if you don't like them, don't work for them. Simple as that.
@joanna81, I agree. Even so one may never conduct a particular shop, if a shopper has elected to receive notifications, you can get inundated by some schedulers and/or companies (for the reason you have stated). Cirrus is another that comes to mind. Emails same shops morning, afternoon and late evening. (I really should turn notifications off with Cirrus as I haven't shopped for them in several years). My bad. On notifications I'm not sure about, I've learned to page down to the state/city list before reading thru it.

Scrolling to where my state's jobs are listed is usually the first thing I do with most SASSIE shop posting emails, which is why I continue to be annoyed by IPSOS, which does not bother to learn how to use SASSIE properly.

I can only imagine the mayhem that would result from a thread that was titled, "Industry's Worst Shopper."

If I remember correctly, YEARSSSSS ago, the now defunct "Volition" forum actually had a LOCKED THREAD that WAS available ONLY to schedulers, that DID INDEED provide a venting place for them to mention shoppers who were less than reliable to each other, so they could avoid using them for shops. Anyone else remember that locked thread besides me????

I remember the old Volition Board. It was a fun place... I never saw that thread but I would love to have been a fly on the wall. When I started mystery shopping back in the 1990's, I used my common G-mail account (Big Mistake) with a truly unique user name (16 letters). I would imagine I got mentioned once or twice in that forum.

Or when you scroll down the four or five same titled e-mails to find out your state isn't mentioned in four of the five? Why does it only occur with the IPSOS schedulers?

This morning I woke up to IPSOS’ email system alerting me to the fact that someone just dumped three states’ worth of yellow gas stations in the past 24 hours. Yikes. All I can think is: hopefully it isn’t Covid.
