Do you get paid for shops when they don't give you a phone number?

I did a cigarette shop. There was no cigarette shop at the location. I was given the address but no phone number to call first to confirm the location. Do you still get paid? I got a business card and picture of the location. Also do you do the shop, if you know the name of the gas station has changed?

For gas stations, generally you report them as "closed" if they are no longer the assigned brand. As for the location that does not exist, some companies pay a reduced closed location fee, or some pay full fee.
If you were not able to do the work, chances are you will either receive a reduced fee for attempting the shop or no fee, however this does not always hold true. The MSC's policy is the deciding factor. I attempted a shop for IntelliShop once at the correct location during the timeframe specified, and the location was closed. I emailed the scheduler and explained the situation; he closed the shop and sent full pay. I attempted a shop for Alta 360 once and the location was closed. I emailed the scheduler and submitted the report along with pictures as an unattended location; I received nothing. IPSOS and Market Force offer closed shop fees (ranging from $3 to half shop pay - I think. I saw one shopper post that they received $1 from IPSOS.). The shop guidelines generally advise you of what you are supposed to do if you arrive at a location that is not branded as expected. Are these the tobacco audits that were mentioned in another thread? If you can mention the MSC safely (without mentioning the name of the client), you might be able to easily obtain an answer from other shoppers. Regardless, I would email the scheduler or company contact provided to explain the situation. Good luck!

I know who the MSC is, and they are generally great to work with. If the OP sends them an email, they will respond in a timely manner with info to answer his questions.
Alta360 has always paid me the full fee if the locatiin was closed (and I went during the hours Alta said they were open).
The shop with the wrong address will get paid. The other shop with a name change on the gas station will not get paid.
