QSR Drive Thru Study is Back

I like doing these shops, though in CA I have only been able to find them for Carl's Jr locations. Still, this breaks up the monotony from Panda, FG, Canes, etc. I'm also moving to AL in a week and hoping these may still be on the board for the long drive.

Are you very sure you want to move to AL? The mystery shopping pickins are slim, and someone here really likes to work for base pay. Head for Mobile or Montgomery.. There is more work down there.
Lol yes, we are moving to Montgomery.

Panda? I have not seen Panda shops for over a year. The QSR shops has no pay, and the reimbursement is only $8 or $10. Not worth the gas, which is close to $7/gallon here

Panda is currently on the boards for $8 pay and $8 reimbursement.. And it looks to be nationwide.. The Hardee's QSR shops are paying $6 and most of them have a $2 bonus on them right now plus $12 reimbursement. Even when I was doing the QSR shops back in California we got paid $5 if dollars and the reimbursement covered the food you had to order.
Well I just did Carl's Jr for the QSR and hoping I get paid. I guess they want your photos geotagged? I have location settings on for camera and the MS app, but when I uploaded my photos it said they weren't geotagged. If there is something else I am supposed to do to get the photos geotagged then the instructions weren't very clear.

I don't know about that, Unless my phone naturally geotagged my pictures?
Panda nationwide? Did it change Shopping Company?

Panda did move. They are with the company that operates on both Sassie and Shopmetrics platforms. They are on the Sassie side. I think it's safe to say Fred sometimes stars in their videos.
Same pay here in TX. $8 fee, $8 reimb. With the new company, you can order a bowl though.
There are several threads about Panda in the last year on this forum. HITS if you have not noticed that :-P
It looks like this is with a new MSC this year, and one positive change is you don't have to time a second vehicle. That was always a pain, especially for the super long CFA drive-thrus!
Are there less pictures/requirements than when these shops were on Sassie? I remember the shop being somewhat extensive.
These were one and done for me a few years ago.

Yes, only need photos of the menu board, the meal, and your receipt. So definitely an improvement.
Still lots of things to check, such as what beverages are listed on the menu board and which payment methods are shown as accepted, plus extensive timings.
I haven't done these in so long. Flat pay was $15, there were dollar menus, only the top few fast food chains were timed and you could order water. With my expenditures usually being under $2, the pay was good. Especially if you could get a nice cluster of places near each other. Then things changed to the point that there was a very small profit, if any at all. Nope.
Are you guys adding things that are required during the shop randomly?

I went back and I double checked both of the load the guidelines because I have little stored on my tablet, there is nothing in the guidelines for either one of those shops (Panda or QSR) that says anything about taking pictures of the menu boards. That is a different shop entirely, And there is no purchase requirement for that shop.
I'm seeing a handful of KFC and Burger King. All are in a high crime area where I don't belong. Not worth the 8 bucks plus reimbursement.
We have McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Dunkin Donuts, and Taco Bell. They are all in areas I would not visit if you paid me ten times as much.

I'm not seeing them, the QSR timing study. Is it the same MSC that has had it for at least the last 5 years? Maybe they release them in certain areas first? I checked CA, NY and MI. None there.

Can you use an old receipt coupon to get the 3rd entree free in the Panda shop? It is only $1.49 for the 3rd entree, but they waive it if you use the coupon from an old receipt with a validation code. Do they accept the shop if you do?

In my experience, they don't seem to care what you buy or how much you buy just so long as you buy a bowl or a plate for the shop. And get a picture of it.

Most of them in my state are down in remote southern cities. I think this round is almost done.
