First shop since November 2020!

I just picked up a nicely bonused shop of a cabinets company and I realized - this is my first shop in 1.5 years! It's a nice reintroduction to the concept at $40. I wish more were like this.

Are you in Maryland? I see that shop frequently. I have a vested interest in doing that shop because I want to redo my cabinets.

I did that shop back in March in my area. It was bonused to $35.00 when I took it. The employee who assisted me was new, and missed several points, but was very congenial. All in all, it wasn't a hard shop, just had to comment in several areas. Can't do another one for 366 days!

The locations in Delaware and New Jersey are shopped regularly. I admit that I don't pay attention to whether other states are listed. I suspect that they are. I did one that was highly bonused. I took along the drawing that I made when we were renovating our kitchen. Honny is proposing to do it in the other order, which should work fine. I just looked, and they have Showrooms in 39 states. There is a measurement guide on their website that will help you since you are required to go in with a rough sketch.

I did a cabinets shop last year. The normal fee is $15, but this one must have been a flake, because I was paid $65.

My location is currently posted at $15. I've never given these any thought because I assumed it was narrative heavy replaying the interaction. Am I correct in this assumption?

I wouldn't do them for $15, because yes, you do have to write in several sections of narrative. Some folks don't mind narrative. I don't mind some narrative as long as the pay is commensurate with it. When I did this shop, it was bonused to $35, so for me, that was enough to get me to do the job. The report wasn't hard, just had to remember types of cabinets, offers, questions asked, etc., and relay them all in narrative. But for $15, no, not me personally.
