In my experience, there are three places where mystery shops get highly bonused. One is the obvious, the locations that are out in the middle of nowhere far from civilization. The chances that a mystery shopper lives close to them are slim. The next, as was hinted above, are places that are sketchy. Perhaps the clientele is a bit scary, or it's in what some people would consider a bad neighborhood. I generally don't mind going to those places, but many people might feel uncomfortable. The third is extremely high-end places. It's where everyone there is rich. Nobody there mystery shops, because they don't have to. It's sometimes hard to find shoppers there because nobody local needs any extra income.
Otherwise, you may have just gotten lucky. Occasionally a shop will fall through the cracks, and nobody sees it. Or maybe it gets rejected after a long delay to get edited. And then it pops back up on the board at the last minute at whatever price they are offering to get it done quickly. Either way, I'm happy you got it. Those are the jobs that make mystery shopping worth it. It happens sometimes.
