Sassie and Gigstop Question

I have downloaded the apps for Sassie and Gigstop. My first question is do all of the jobs that are available from the companies using Sassie and Gigstop show up? Or do I have to individually go through and apply to each company for the jobs to show up? Also, I don’t feel comfortable giving out my SSN to companies I don’t know. Thoughts?

A Dad shopping the Ark-LA-Tex and beyond.
Sassie doesn't have an app. Are you referring to Presto?

Gigspot is a HUGE mistake, get the names of the companies you want to work for and get out. In Gigspot you can only access a fraction of the shops the companies have available and you will get paid less. And you will always be redirected to Gigspot if you try to sign in to the individual MSC's websites.

In Presto if you try to do a job on an orange pin, you will have to sign up to that individual company. The only jobs you can do on Presto without signing into each company are the shops on blue and purple pins on the map.

Presto can be a great tool to search for shops in an area and see what is available. You don't have to sign up with all the companies, but it will show you what is available.

I had gigcrap for awhile and got rid of it. I was missing out on shops being posted. Sassie software sends emails out almost immediately when a scheduler posts shops. With Shopmetrics/gigcrap, I found it was inconsistent. There were 2 shops I constantly missed out on, so I decided to rid myself of gigcrap and just deal individually with the companies. I now get the notifications when posted directly thru shopmetrics and do not miss out anymore.
I actually have stayed with GigSpot...ONLY because I travel and it is easy to find companies that shop in other locations. I have found some really great food places for when I'm vacationing or at a conference. I wouldn't have found them without Gigspot. If I didn't travel, I'd pick the 5-6 companies that I regularly shop for and dump GigSpot.

BTW, if you have to load photos on GigSpot and you have a Mac, use Safari and NOT Firefox--it'll spin and not load. :-)
Gigspot has a lot of technical glitches. From someone who used to edit I saw a lot of info 'vanish' when using this app.
My suggestion to shopperswas always (and what I do personally) to sign up for Gigspot with an email you don't really use & just check the job board. When you see a shop you want go to that company's site directly and register/ apply/ complete the shop with your regular account.

How does one get out of gigspot? I'm regretting signing up and not being able to work with companies directly.
You have to email them directly and request it.

Completely agree. I am so glad I did this. Because it is sometimes nice not to have to go to every job board. I have been told Gigspot is notorious for not posting everything

Thanks, I'll do that and then follow the tip to sign up with another email.
