Pizza Hut shops

I noticed quite a few Pizza Hut shops in my area posted today. The instructions say that multiple pictures of the pizza are required, but no further details. It says to see guidelines but the guidelines aren't available unless I schedule the shop. I can remember several years ago that a pizza chain (not Pizza Hut) required tearing the pizza apart, photographing the back side, placing a note on the box and photographing it, etc. I'm fuzzy on the details because I never actually did one of those shops. I'm hoping someone who has done a Pizza Hut shop will tell me if it is worth the trouble. The base pay is $10 and it's a huge pizza, so it might be worth it unless the pizza ends up being cold and mangled. Thanks!

I signed up for 1 of the shops. It does look like they want some of the slices flipped upside down like PJ shops that were done several years ago.
Ha, I had forgotten about the PJ shops. Kind of cumbersome flipping the pieces and what not but I didn't mind those shops.
I was thking it was Blaze that wanted the upside down picture. PJ wanted the picture with piece of paper next to the pizza, but not upside down. Got a Blaze near me, haven't seen a shop.

I miss those PJ shops since there are none near me anymore. Never understood how a chain place stayed in business in NY state
I completed my first PJ's shop in 2006. It paid $20+$20 for my choice of toppings on a large pie. It appears Pizza Hut has gone south with the pay.
Blaze did not want upside down. They just wanted a picture of the bottom to see how cooked/uncooked it might have been. PJ was for awhile was flipping pieces upside down. That was with the big olil/gas company in Kansas that has gone away/merged into a behemoth.

I think you may be right about PJs at first.

But how did you take a picture of the bottom of Blaze without turning it over? If you search, I think there will be multiple threads about flipping Blaze ver in the restaurant.

You hold it up with one hand and snap picture with the other hand. I loved doing these shops. I now do a few Pieology shops. They want the sane picture as Blaze did.

Any hints on MSC for Pieology? I looked closely at a couple of places but I haven’t seen it yet. Thank you!
Pieology company is a small boutique with a popular fast casual burger place from California with many people praising their interactions on this forum.

Oh, boy. I'm either being very thick or it's something I've never heard of. I'll have to keep digging. Thank you smiling smiley
I'm sorry i can't think of any other hints. I'm in Southern California and do fast food for them.

So, I doubt I shop for them on either platform, if they're small, they're probably not a real force in the industry. I wonder if this compay could make a nice monogram but they just don't have anything to see right now. I'll try not to get sassie when I'm too frustrated about not finding the company...

The are a 3 letter company on SASSIE. They are a much smaller company and are not as well known nationwide. They do lots of "hands on" scheduling and don't really post anything to the Sassie Job Boards. Very rarely do they send out a posting (only when they have trouble filling a location).

I also remember cutting a piece in half, stacking it so the cut sides were up, and taking a photo. My first business purchase for mystery shopping was a utility knife, used just for this purpose.

I did a Pizza Hut shop several yrs back. Absolutely the worst pizza I ever had. They used to be pretty good maybe 20+ yrs ago. I won't touch it today.
oh man the PJ pic requirements were so goofy. At one point, I think they switched their shopping program and some of the pics were much easier.
I used to do a lot of the Blaze shops, they were pretty easy and just wanted a quick shot of the bottom to make sure it wasn't burnt or undercooked.
I've seen a few of the PH shops but they're a little out of my normal shopping area and I'm not a huge fan of the topping. My kids like plain cheese pizza (boring) and my son gets free personal pizza coupons for their Book It program, so if we want pizza I'll go to our local one and use the freebie coupon.

I almost wrote, "Thanks, Daddy," but that seemed wrong! I think I did just come across them winking smiley I'll have to keep a lookout for Pieology. Next, I'm going to need a cardiologist shop....
I did quite a few of those Blaze shops. I despised the MSC that had them. The report was much longer than it needed to be and I hated trying to track names and descriptions of all the clowns who touched my pizza. While I miss the food, I don't really remember these shops paying all that well (maybe $10 fee at most), so I don't miss them as much as others do.
I remember when Pizza Hut had the Book It Program.

I also remember when they had the buffet.

If I am not mistaken most of the Pizza Hut's now are just Take out and Delivery.

Aw, book it!

There were a few locations that would end up with NICE bonuses. But because my family (and me) liked the food so much if I was going to be near one and it wasn't bonused I'd still take it.
The closest location is about 45 minutes away from me.
