Why do some shops threaten you to stay within reimbursement?

I frequently/generally go over the reimbursement as well. If it is a place with food that I'd really like to eat, no biggie. That is a perk of our work. However, I tend to pass on the ones that put so many restrictions on what you order that you end up, as other said, one step above a kiddie meal and eating nothing that you would generally even want to order. Who wants to even bother, much less having to pull out a calculator at a fine dining establishment, and you are sitting there drooling over what you can't order because of the various restrictions. I pull up a menu online and do my calculations before I accept the restaurant shops. Some really nice ones in my area are on my ten-foot pole list because of the shop restrictions. There is no doubt that I will jump on a good one though.

PS. Watch on the water, some MSCs allow it, but many will not let it count as a beverage. Also, unless they specify that you must order alcohol, the beverages can generally be a soft drink, which helps on the check total.

How many legs does a dog have if you call the tail a leg?
