Please share the locarions

In the past few months, I have read several posts concerning free groceries and gas, but the hand-out locations are not stated. Please share so that both others and myself can avail ourselves of that good fortune.

Food pantries?!? I am not sure what posts you are referencing, Bob.
I suggest that anyone in need of free food Google "food panties near me" - if there are any near you, Google will likely know. Finding out that there is a food pantry in San Francisco is of little value if you live in Omaha.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I believe Bob is saying that the reimbursement stuff is not really "free" - we are working for it!

NOOOOOO! "Food panties" might get you some results you really didn't want to know about!

Or maybe you do!

I tried but all I got was food pantries. I must live in a boring area.
I did not consider anyone would attach a need for food panties to my post. It was, as has been suggested, a poke at shops including FREE food and gas. If I offended anyone, I apologize AND thank all who were considerate in sharing a possible solution to my non-existent problem.
Ohhhh. Shopperbob got jokes!

He's feeling spicy tonight!
I wish autocorrect had helped me this time! I'm glad that I made a few people laugh, however.

Shopperbob scored a comedy trifecta!

1. Goofing on MSC/shedulers' claim that our required reimbursed purchases are "free."

2. Goofing on posters who want others to disclose exactly who shops who and where.

3. Goofing at all, which is way out of character for shopperbob, so it caught us off guard.

Awesome! Hero citation hereby awarded!
Several decades ago, a company was advertising an eatable variety in publications geared to a niche clientele. I do not recall if there were any suggestions as to appetizer, dessert or if that were diner 's prerogative.
Shopperbob, I have relied on your fine business advice for years. I never (not ever!) suspected you had a sense of humor.

Thanks for the guffaw!!!!!
Food pantries hand out expired food. I know I got food from them for years. I don't think with everything going on right now any one wants expired food! I just want to mystery shop them and get the food from the store MYSELF!
I shop Kroger and Ingles but Ingles reimbursement is a pittance. I used to shop Harveys and Publix until COVID. now I don't know if they are still shopped or not. Before I wasted hours looking for them, I tried to find out, but people bad-mouthed me for even asking!
PS I just found Ace Hardware. Don't know how long they've been with the MSP they are with now but I found them on accident. I'd like to know if Harvey's, Publix, and Rentacenter are still shopped but I don't want to waste hours and hours looking for them and applying with new companies. But god forbid I ask because people will bad mouth me. Years ago when I first started I applied and checked all the boards etc OMG took me months and wasted a lot of time with MSP's that had no jobs in my area. I'm registered with hundreds of companies and I've forgotten many that never had any work in my area. I'm not spending months again! Especially, when it might be a wild goose chase!
Many food items are good many months (and years) past the arbitrary best-by, sell-by dates on the packages. These dates are required, but it does not mean that the food can't still be put to good use or that is unsafe or spoiled, especially for canned and boxed goods.

I was given a case of Lipton's Chicken Noodle soup with a date of Oct. 2006; It tastes fine to me. A gal I occasionally dance with mentioned that, even if it smells good, she pours milk down the drain on expiration day. A favorite adage of mine is "To each his/her own." I know from selling food, beginning in 2007, freshness, taste and safety all depend upon the product.

A final example: A&P departed my area at least 40 yrs. ago. I have, but rarely use, a small tin of their cinnamon.
cinnamon is probably ok if it tastes the same. We opened a can of cranberry sauce the other day because the label had come off and we were looking for things in the cabinet to make a vegetable/mix mash soup (black beans and vegetables mainly). The texture was off. We had to throw it away.
@shopperbob - I trust that cinnamon is fine, because thus far, all the spices you have sprinkled on us have been delicious!

Took your advice and the results came back with ‘Sausage Party’ related information.
