Thanks for that, there are probably some things that I can buy but I wouldn't buy $40 in one order anyways.
For the first time, my pickup order was completely missing an item. At least I get reimbursed for it even if it wasn't in the bag. The website says if you are missing an item you have to call. I didn't want to do that. It was not something I absolutely needed.

Because it's the location closest to my house, I don't want to risk being flagged. I am not out of pocket, just out of sliced ham, lol...

I completed my first Kroger job 18 yrs. ago today. Two days ago, though, I experienced a first.
My shop was, as are all, self-scan, but when I requested assistance from the attendant concerning an error, she was unable to correct the listing. She then asked me to follow her to her kiosk, where she adjusted my bill. The following day, my assignment was still "in process," so I checked the receipt and sure enough it did not have the CHEC letters; it was her name. I contacted scheduler Jenn Barrick, who confirmed the MSC was considering the job as full service and unacceptable. After she contacted them with my explanation, the work was accepted.
I have no idea what I could say. in the future, to prevent a worker from employing his/her station to correct an amount due. Attempting to stop anyone would not be an action a typical shopper would consider; in my case the amount was $6+. It has been my experience that sale items are occasionally not adjusted in their system.
Any thoughts?

I wonder how many "food deserts" this will create...

While scanning a shelf during a Kroger job today, an elderly lady engaged me in conversation. She inquired as to why I was not using my SmartPhone and then showed me her screen. As she scrolled, she pointed out at least six items that literally showed FREE. Have I been missing something? I related this to the self scan attendant, but she was not aware of these FREE items. I have been availing myself of the digital discount,
Please share, as I could be assisting a food bank.
Are they for sure closing, though? I took this to mean those locations were being sold to another company. Whether they close them or rebrand them remains to be seen, I guess...
I've never had this happen. Do store personnel know they're there?@jgardn02 wrote:

Does anyone else get badgered by aggressive internet service salespeople while doing your in-store shops? Tips for avoiding them or getting them to back off quickly?
