They had to "compromise elsewhere". We know exactly where elsewhere was in this case.@Auditor wrote:
Did anyone else chuckle when you see Boars Head shops? They had the filthiest plants that shut down permanently for killing people; yet, send us in to scrutinize the cleanliness of a deli counter, and equipment.

Not for a lousy 7 bucks they hit well over $30 in my area. They can sit until they hit the $30 mark again. I would not feed the cold cuts to my dog. lol
Pretty sure listeria was the problem for BH and that bacteria is easily killed by cooking. My immune suppressed transplant recipient relative can still eat deli meat but has to heat it first. ALL deli meat, not just one brand.@kisekinecro wrote:

BTW, I once asked the person at the meat counter in the local grocery to cut a pork loin into 1" thick slices for me. When I went to prepare it the next evening for the grill, it was gray with a green and shimmery effect like a beetle all over the cut edges. It smelled foul. I took it back to the store and insisted the customer service person look at the date on my receipt, the product label, and the condition of the meat because they had so obviously cut the pork with a filthy blade. They were not nearly concerned enough about what had happened in their meat department and mostly in a HUGE hurry to get me refunded and out of the store. I haven't asked for something to be cut there since and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they also skip cleaning steps in the deli

I did two shops at some local stores for $12 each with some reimbursement. I also see some randomly appear on the Presto app as Insta-Shops (where they ask for lots of photos - no purchase) that appear at the weirdest times because they appear after the end-time allotted for the shop and then if you accept it, the time to complete it isn't enough to reach the start time. So I'd see a shop appear with a blue pin around 7:30pm but the shop has to be completed in 12 hours and the time you need to be there is 10am-7pm. Anyone ever get these?

So I got an email with some details about a Boar's Head shop. Apparently if the employee doesn't recommend a Boar's Head product, we need to ask "Why not Boar's Head?". It makes me wonder how many employees might respond with "Because they compromised everywhere"!
