Diesel canopy heads up

There are a LOT more questions. Trucker amenities and all sorts of things. Fill out the survey before leaving.

A lot more questions. I claimed one, and when I got to the station the pumps were all busy. I opened the form and started reading all the diesel questions. I ended up just driving off and letting the shop drop. Not worth it for that extra $5 or $8.
Are there additional photos required, or just the same normal diesel canopy photos? Is it just a lot more questions?
Yep, I was one of those that grabbed like 7 of them without knowing. That taught me a good lesson for the future!

No, not really. You should fill out the report on site though. Or do as I have done - take photos of the diesel pumps.
There are questions though about showers on site, amount of trucker parking spots, restaurant on site, diesel efficient options at the pumps and advertised on the main ID. It is probably wise to take a more non direct photo of the diesel canopy.
Just the one pic of the overall Diesel area. But questions include: Are there showers? How many? Laundry room? Pet area? What color schemes, decals and logos are on the canopy and pumps (pick list). Are there lined big-rig parking spaces? How many? Do you have any comments? (Uh, yeah, but they would surely trigger my immediate deactivation.)

There may be a few more.
Its probably not an easy needle to thread but if you know the location by your day in and day out living--like if you stop there for coffee in the morning and are even a little aware of the insides..they’re easy because you can answer most just by memory. If you’re lured to BFE by the payday, you may be walking into a hornet’s nest
I took one thinking it was a nice little fee surprise...yes, surprise with the additional questions. Fortunately the station was just a normal small 4 pumper with one one-sided stand alone diesel on the side. No room for an 18-wheeler and no store or amenities so it was just a couple of extra pictures.

No disrespect intended, but thanks for reminding me why I don’t even look at these.

Seems unseemly to have to check both gender specific personal hygiene areas.

What you describe sounds more like standard paid employee boxes to check.

Shopper role should be quick stops to assess quality control and document with photos, for at least 2 hours of minimum wage pay for the 1-2 hours of time required to travel round trip and complete the report.

$5-10 is not even half that…and you’ve got to buy things too?!

I recall recently seeing a 2-cent “bonus” offered. 2 lousy cents! That when I deleted the app, closed my profile, and unsubscribed from the emails.

I won’t pay to work, and these were never “simple,” “easy,” “quick,” or worth the time and gas required to do all the things as a one-and-done or sequentially round trip as a “route.”

Nothing will change unless we employ reasonable boundaries to make it so.
