De-branding gas stations

Today, I received a notice of these shops @ $12. The last such jobs I completed were 15 yrs. ago @ $25, but I do not recall nor did I list, in my log, the name of the client.

I did them for Maritz for $25 back in the day.
They generally require many more photos than the regular audit, especially if there is still old branding present.
I only did one for a P66 and there were so many pictures and questions it was not worth whatever they paid.
According to both my log and memory, the company was Maritz.

As to the number of pics, back then MSCs were paying to have those submitted. My first such experience was in 2007; I was paid an extra $5 for one pic that was optional. I think, but am not positive, the pics totaled 4 to 6. Knowing me, the number was definitely NOT in double digits. It was not then and is not now necessary for me to toil for a pittance paid by multi-billion dollar oil companies..
I do them a lot. I like them because I can just walk up and start taking photos. I don't have to get gas, I don't have to reveal, I don't have to go inside and search for something for $1.00. I shoot as many photos from across the street. Then, I will go on their property to get the ones I can't get from across the street.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
I just did a bunch of those on HSB, they don't pay a lot, but it's simple, done from across the street, no LOA, no nonsense. Only a very few pictures. I would do them all day if there were more of them locally.
Several years ago I did some "green" debranding shops for IPSOS after a local chain that was branded "green" was bought by the #3 convenience chain (by store count) that is based in Iowa. They paid $25 or so that I can remember, and were very easy to do if the store was debranded.
However....
Stuck in the list was a station that was supposed to be DEbranding but was actually REbranding to "green's" sister "red/white/blue" brand and away from a local brand. I emailed the person at IPSOS telling them the situation and that it was a mistake, but to no avail. I decided to sign up for the shop, and I took a bunch of pictures, explained that they had just REbranded to "red/white/blue" instead of DEbranding away from "red/white/blue," provided the manager's name and contact info, the whole deal. The shop was rejected and I was not paid. The shop sat for months on their job board before it finally disappeared.
That's what I get for trying to be nice. Oh well.
Cheers!
@teacherguy - I realize that was a while ago, but I have had similar situations and I keep on them, going up the chain until someone does the right thing and understands (finally), what had been reported. Fortunately, they always have made it right and paid me. It is tiring and annoying when someone does not get it, though.
