Here's a hint. About a year ago the MSC changed their name. Their name used to be..."something coaches watch to analyze their players performances."

My idea of an agreeable person is a person who agrees with me.

LOL!!!! You nailed it. I get begging e-mails from them weekly. I won't do it unless it's heavily bonused. It's not worth it otherwise.

NO fee, $35 max reimbursement but 2 people have to go and appetizer required and beer.
OK what do you mean by no fee? This amount of reimbusement is about what it is for casual dining. Not bad for 2 free meals I think.

Means it is reimbursed only. I rarely do meal shops that don't have a fee for the report in addition to the reimbursement. I've tried it twice, once bonused and once not. My DH and I cannot follow the guidelines and come out for less than $55-60. I am not going in the hole for a basic steakhouse.
Whether or not the $35 reimbursement is worth it to you is what you have to decide. It probably won't cover the cost of what is required. I have never shopped there, but if two entrees, two beverages, appetizer and/or dessert are required which is often the case you probably pay some out of pocket expenses to do the shop.

If you like the place and would go there anyway or want to try it for the first time--- this is a great way to try it. If it isn't a favorite place, you need to decide if you want to incur the out of pocket expenses.
I do this shop every 3 months (90 day rotation). They offer both sit at the bar shops ($25 reimbursement) and table seating ($35 reimbursement). I love this shop and am able to do it without out of pocket expense. You do not have to puchase beer.
No coupons can be used on this. Reimbursement is $35. It covers two entrees and appetizer but we don't usually order beverages, just water...beverages not required for the shop. The reimbursement usually covers 2 entrees, appetizer, tax & tip. Appetizer is also not required and sometimes I take two people, covering all 3 entrees, tax and tip. Not a bad shop.
In addition to the points Austin Mom stated, the report is relatively simple from both a common sense and time standpoint; my best guess is 30 mins. tops and without a speck of repetition. In my area, we are given 3 days for completion, with a 3 hr. dinner window. The steaks are tender and haven't been soaked in marinade, the mashed potatoes are REAL and the salads delicious. After 8 1/2 yrs. in this business, I'm quite particular as to the assignments I accept; this is one I jump on!
I agree with what everyone else has said. My husband and I have done this shop several times, and appetizer and beer are NOT required. I have always been able to get out of there for under the $35, so I've never been out of pocket.

And I agree with shopperbob; the reports are fairly easy to fill out. I will gladly do a 30 minute report in exchange for free dinner for my husband and myself. Gotta love it when date night is paid for courtesy of mystery shopping! smiling smiley
GOOD Lucky7s! This my MOST FAVORITE SHOP!!! The hardest part about it for me is deciding which of my friends to invite!! I've only done the bar shops, but have done many of them & my bill is always under $25.00 (may spend a few $$ on tip) and I have leftovers to take home! BE ON THE LOOKOUT - They will be coming out anyday now - I always go around the 4 - 6th of the month.
Its actually a lot of fun but don't forget the details; it gets crazy in there with the peanuts, the line dancing and ours is always so busy. As a rule of thumb I do a cheat sheet on the pad I keep in my purse, and try to sit farthest away from the server so when I'm "looking for my phone" while jotting down notes in my oversized retro Lesportsac no one notices. I've never done a bar shop though as we have 2 children and couldn't bring them and I'm not crazy about eating at the bar. Have a great time - the bread is outstanding there too!

Okay, one more clue:

Lucky7- I realised after I sent my message that your TX Roadhouse isn't even opened yet!!!!!!

SunnyDays2 - It's a REAL EASY report. I've only had a few negatives to sumnit. The waitress at the bar was dressed in inappropriate pants. Her "crack" was showing when she bent over to pick up a bottle for a drink. Another time when they weren't busy at all, the manager didn't address us (they're supposed to address all patrons). Timing is cruicial but easy. I've alway been served within the time limits. It's nothing like the timing for Mickey dee's. You'll do fine. I've gotten all good scores - a few eights, a few nines and the rest tens.
I love this shop! Super easy, but they do NOTHING they are supposed to at mine. The line dancers always look cranky and are all talking to each other while dancing. Yuck.
I did the shopsmiling smiley

I LOVED the cinnamon butter, with fresh rolls! Yummmmmysmiling smiley

I had a pretty good experience there. ( Crosses fingers that the editors love my report )

Overall, one of the easiest shops compared to my (58 PAGE) hotel shop questionaire the other day..lol...
Good for you! The biggest one I ever did was for Margaritaville - 300+ questions with bar visit, dinner and then gift shop but totally worth it.
Thanks suzie !

Wow "thats~allota" questions ( 300 ) lol....but the main thing for me is, I must enjoy my shop, whether it's icecream ( cheapy shop but fun ) or a De-branding hotel, where I have to take tons of pictures and have a huge amount of questions. But I love them both, to be honest !

My least fave and ( I refuse to do them anymore ) are those double drivein/walk fast food. Ugh !!!
I do like a special "Chicken Store" where you just walk in and order and eat! No strange looks from employees for the double/drivethru fiasco!

To me it screams "SHOPPER!" when you walk in 5 minutes after you just ordered...yikes!
I shop at one of 3 about every months, since I like to eat there anyway. Every time I want eat there I ask for a shop
