Just enjoyed dinner there tonight. Good stuff! We got out of there with 47 cents left to spare, even with a 20% tip.
You know what guys? I'm going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tomorrow night on my own dime because I am absolutely craving it like you wouldn't believe!
Glad you enjoyed it techsavvy! 'Wish we could find a bunch more shops like this one! (The $1.29 corndogs I get while shopping my local convenience store are a nice mid-day snack on a busy shopping day, but they don't QUITE measure up)!!!!
I got another Roadhouse shop! smiling smiley I have to go back...lol...This time maybe grilled shrimp...yummmy!
Gee...I wonder why you're craving them. *rollscinnamonbuttersteakpeanutsribsrollscinnatmonbutter* Hmmm. winking smiley

Are you sure about the appetizer AND dinner (?) because usually you get the appetizer or entree, but not both. I ALWAYS pick the dinner...and plus you get salad with your dinnersmiling smiley.
Same reason I usually do the dinner shop. We don't have enough shoppers around here, so last month I got to do the dinner shop and a week later the bar shop.
I love Texas Roadhouse - however I don't have the energy to try to get a table in there on a weekend night!

You can get steak tips and road kill or two other $10.95 menu items and two soft drinks and pay the 15% tip and get a cactus blossom for an appetizer and you may get change from your $35 but they will only reimburse the price you actually spent up to $35. If you want to buy one of the steaks in the case and a beer it might cost you $35 for one person leaving you to pay for your partner's food and drink, but heck the peanuts and the atmosphere (loud country music) at half price. I love it! I go there without a shop if they are paying half. I will take the discount.

The report is not bad at all and they give you 24 hours to get the report completed which means you can do the dinner shop, get a good nights sleep and do the report the next day. The bar visit is $25. I will still take the discount as I would go there (and do go there with friends) often. You can bring a birthday person and get him or her up on the horse, Yahoo!

This shop is not recommended if your pleasure is fine dinning in a quiet atmosphere.
Isn't it great? I never take the bar shops, I hold out for the dining shops. In my area they always do everything right, EXCEPT I have never seen them line dance.
I think I was told it was going to change to say you MUST buy at least one steak, when it does, it will NOT be able to be shopped for the $35....... You can't use any coupons and I never get an appetizer or beer. Not a hard shop at all.
My DH always gets a steak. Usually a smaller one and I order ribs or pulled pork. We always come in under $35 getting drink. I even take my kids and might go $5 over including tip. I am wondering how people don't get in under the reimbursement.
It changed briefly several months ago. One month it was required that one guest order a chicken entree OR to order the Chicken Critters appetizer. Another month at least one guest was required to order a steak. Then it bounced back to no specified requirement except at least 2 guests who must each order an entree, beverages and appetizer optional. If you want a steak try to go on Wild West Wednesday, great special on steak.
I just saw these shops, but can't touch them due to a severe peanut allergy!

I love the bar shops because I can go alone. The $25 is plenty for my favorite KC strip steak and loaded mashed taters smiling smiley

One annoying thing is that they put in the requirements that the shopper must be 23 to do bar shops. I'm 22, so I always have to email the scheduler to request it. They do always assign it to me when I request it, though.
I love these shops, but will only do the "dinner at the bar" ones. The reimbursement is enough for one person to get a drink and nice meal. The survey is very easy. I highly recommend the filet medallions entree too. It's 9oz of meat, served on rice, plus 2 sides, vs. the regular petite filet and costs the same. ;-)
I was so excited about trying out a TR restaurant, but the nearest one is 2.5 hours away. boo hoo!
Must be more then one company doing them....

Perhaps pricing is different at different locations also. And it sounds as though instructions differ also....
and......we can NEVER go bef dinnertime even on weekends no shops for bar bef 4pm and dinner 6pm. I only drive 13 miles because that's where it is, not interested in driving further.

About 15 miles. Wouldn't drive more unless it was bonused or I was planning to be nearby already.
