Nice MF responsiveness

This is the good kind of MF. Yesterday I couldn't upload my receipt to MarketForce's website - tried multiple times, multiple browsers. I then sent an email to their help desk, explained that I filed my report well before deadline, an the problem I was having. Attached my receipt and shop#. Today I got an email from them - short and sweet that they've uploaded the receipt. I verified this - shop approved. Good communication means a lot to me and being new to this, I have a nice impression of them.

BabyBooey19,

You say you are new to this but your profile says you have been registered for 4 years.

As I enjoy your enthusiasm, you really don't need to like or respond to every post that answers the questions you have asked or offer blow by blow descriptions of every new shop you have successfully completed.

If you registered 4 years ago and just recently realized that actually doing shops provides income to you, I can understand your excitement.

Maybe I'm wrong, but let the MSCs payment cycles go through, well their cycles, without getting too excited at least once before posting there's a problem.

There is absolutely no problem with asking for advise on shops you would like to try, but try searching the previous threads to see if your questions haven't already been answered. And perhaps, bump that thread to the top instead of starting a new one.

It seems you are concentrating on MF. That means you haven't taken the advice of signing up with 10 new MSCs a day to really get into mystery shopping. Then you will be so involved in deciding what shops to take that you won't be so worried about whether you got paid for the shop you did last week that pays 45 days out.
4 year membership on this board: Yes. Summary version: 20+ year successful business career. 4 years ago, started to see chinks in my armor, writing on the wall. Overall, I knew id be financially secure - -nevertheless wanted to add a little extra - hence I had signed up 4 years ago, asked questions, etc. I fought and hung on in business for an additional 2 years. Then - I sort of 'retired' and have done *no* work for 2 years other than monitoring and setting up investments. I decided to start this a month ago so yes, I've been on this board 4 years. Only started shopping 2 months ago.

Companies.... I've done 5 MF shops. And 1 ACL shop. Also have signed up with Intellishop and Coyle and Mintel - though just haven't seen something that works yet on the latter 3. Will be signing up for more in coming days.

Blow by Blow - won't do it every time. I've described 1 5G, 1 Mattress, 1 storage. So I won't be describing those in the future. I do write those - in case someone else who is new could one day use the info - no different than me .

Liking posts - if I got something out of it, I click the like button , I figured that's why its there and also it might encourage exchanging of info.

Threads - I'll make sure to search for old threads but its not foolproof. For instance I had a general question about Tile Shop - I did search - didn't;t find it - then I posted on it. I would hope if someone wasn't interested in my question or comment about a particular shop, they won't read my post.

Payment problem - not sure if I've ever posted on a payment "problem". I did ask once - about a completed shop that disappeared and then learned here - that's how they process it. Posted a question about being unable to upload a receipt - but that wasn't citing any problem with payment because, I don't think I've come to the point where any payment is due.

On this thread- which was *solely* about my receipt uploading question - I merely thought to circle back and say "problem solved - it worked'.

On a side note, I have a craving for lamb kabobs. Go figure.
Keep posting as much as you want! There is absolutely nothing wrong with what or how you've been posting here.
I wasn't trying to say you were wrong,
or shouldn't keep posting,. I was just trying to say relax, once you do and submit a shop, it's pretty much out of your control.

People here will be more than happy to help with problems, but we don't care that you think you have to post every time you complete and submit a shop. If we all did that, nobody could see and try to fix the problems.
And I never addressed your 20+ year successful career.

There's nothing wrong with statrtng a new career or using mystery shopping as as an adjunct or gateway into your next career.

That's what I'm doing.

Obviously YOU care, or you wouldn't have taken the time to scold her about it!

No, but you made note of my saying I'm new, but having a 4 year membership on this board. I was just offering an explanation -

As I said - if you scroll up - I dont plan to post about every shop. Only on new shops - I'd post an opinion should someone down the road want to reference it. And to anyone forced to click on my posts I do apologize - my super secret Jedi mind powers shouldn't be used that way. Personally I click on posts I find interesting, avoid ones not relevant to me -.
I just had the same problem, and if I hadn't read your post earlier today would have been pretty annoyed. Email sent to the Help Desk. I hope my issue is solved as easily as yours was.

I'm glad you had and shared a positive experience! I hope you feel free to continue commenting and posting as much as you want. I'm not sure why some people on this forum have chosen to dig into your background and then gatekeep what you should and shouldn't post, like or comment on. So odd considering this is a forum and is used for discussion purposes.

Thanks for that post, appreciate it. Yes, the board was about "Kudos" and I was merely doing just that - giving kudos to an MSC and describing why. And yes - if I do a new shop - I'll report on it the 1st time - already I had a few private messages and I think the information helped people - no different than people have been helping me. Tis the whole idea.
Hey at least you're not like that poster about a month ago who started 5 or 6 threads titled just "Sonic" with no further explanation about what the topic was.
