Shoppers' View is paying $25 for a mortgage inquiry shop. There is no credit check required. You do not have to be a member of the credit union to complete this shop! You must ask about refinancing a current mortgage (but not an LMCU mortgage) or getting a new mortgage.

You are not required to take out a mortgage or refinance, but you must act interested up until the point the mortgage associate asks for your personal credit information (i.e., to run a credit check). You may politely decline at this point, saying you need to think about it (or another reason).
