We have 6 different types of shops:
✓ Lost Ticket / Damaged Ticket
✓ Lost Ticket / Cash Attempt
✓ Damaged Ticket / Cash Attempt
✓ APM and APM Validation
✓ Flat Rate Thurs-Saturday
✓ Valet
General Guidelines:
- You MUST wait at least 1 month before completing another one.
- At the end of each report is a required narrative. Be detailed and descriptive when summarizing your experience. Stick to fact based statements and avoid opinionated statements.
- You MUST write sentences in the past tense. Follow all basic grammar rules such as putting a period at the end of each sentence.
- Make sure each comment is typed in UPPERCASE letters.
Receipt and Picture Instructions
• You MUST take a picture of your ticket PRIOR to damaging it, or handing it back in.
• Pictures of the ticket AND the parking receipt MUST be attached to the survey.
• You MUST get a picture of the rate board/sign if the following situations occur:
The parking lot is full.
Access to the parking lot is unavailable due to a mechanical malfunction. (For example, the automated gate is “Out of Order.”)
If you stayed the required amount of time to accrue a parking fee but were NOT charged for your stay.
If there is any other reason, not listed above, that will NOT allow you access to the lot.
Detailed Scenarios:
Lost Ticket / Damaged Ticket
You MUST park your vehicle and stay for at least 15 minutes.
You will be reimbursed up to $17.00.
“Lost Ticket” shops MUST be completed on a Monday,Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.
You MUST upload your (JPEG) receipt to the report.
Lost Ticket / Cash Attempt
Same as above except you MUST use CASH
Damaged Ticket / Cash Attempt
You MUST park your vehicle and stay for at least 15 minutes.
You MUST pay in cash.
You will be reimbursed up to $17.00.
“Damaged Ticket” shops MUST be completed on a Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday.
You MUST physically damage your ticket (i.e. tear it or crumple it) and present it when you go to exit the facility. It should be extremely damaged.
It is possible that the employee may ask for your name. Additionally, you may need to show your license as well.
APM and APM Validation (Automatic Pay Machine)
• This shop MUST be completed Monday – Saturday between 9:00AM and 9:00PM.
• Ticketing machines located within the structure are generally located in the center, near the escalators.
• You MUST have an interaction with the attendant at the location.
You MUST ask for assistance upon entry and/or exit. For example, on entry, you can claim the ticket dispenser is NOT working properly. Or, upon exit, you can ask directions to the freeway.
• You MUST park your vehicle and stay for at least 15 minutes.
• You will be reimbursed up to $17.00.
• You MUST upload your (JPEG) receipt to the report.
Flat Rate Thurs-Saturday
This is either a PAY ON ENTRY parking mystery shop
• This shop MUST be completed Thursday – Saturday between 10:00PM and 1:00AM.
• You MUST park your vehicle and stay for at least 15 minutes.
• You will be reimbursed up to $17.00.
• You MUST upload your (JPEG) receipt to the report.
Valet
• You MUST pay with cash.
• This is a VALET parking mystery shop
• This shop MUST be completed Monday – Saturday between 9:00AM and 9:00PM.
• You will be reimbursed up to $25.00.
•You MUST upload your (JPEG) receipt to the report.
• You MUST park your vehicle and stay for at least 30 minutes
Shopper Payment: $8
Shopper Reimbursement: Depends on Scenario above
