Make the move to proofreading!

Have you considered becoming an Editor? No gas to buy, no schedules to coordinate, no shops to compete for - just stay home? Work at your own pace, work at your own time of the day (or night) and correct other people's reports. Make and achieve your own goals.

If you are a Mystery Shopper who consistently gets top scores for your reports or an editor/proofreader who specializes in Mystery Shopping, we have plenty of work and we need editors to review incoming Mystery Shopping reports/surveys to ensure that they are complete, accurate, submitted in a timely manner and consistent with client standards.

Editors must be able to find and correct contradictions and errors of omission and correct grammatical, typographical, punctuation and spelling errors. When needed, the shoppers who write the reports must be contacted to discuss their reports and/or obtain additional information.

Reports are completed and edited online and editors must have their own computer and Internet connection.
We are also hiring for some phone call shop opportunities.

If you have experience or interest in conducting phone call shops please let us know!

Successful candidates must:
-Have at least one-year shopping and/or editing experience
-Have excellent writing, spelling/grammar, organizational and communication skills
-Be very attentive to detail and have ability to perform highly focused, detail-oriented work repetitively, accurately and consistently
-Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
-Have ability to manage your own time
-Have experience with Sassie, Shopmetrics or other MSP software programs

Our editors are Independent Contractors who work whenever and wherever they wish, but are willing to commit at least 15 hours per week. We are particularly interested in people who are willing to work on reports that come in on weekends and holidays. Our editors are paid a fee per completed report and earn approximately $12-$14 per hour depending upon their abilities.

Phone callers will earn a higher fee.
