Customer Impact is currently seeking help with a Mystery Shop opportunity to file your taxes and evaluate the preparer’s knowledge and compliance with the tax preparation process. You will make an appointment with an assigned tax preparer (name disclosed upon assignment). You will be fully reimbursed for any fees they charge you to file with them (up to $350), and on top of that, we will pay you $125 to answer the questions afterward in the GoSpotCheck app. Getting it done by a professional might also help you to get a little extra on your tax return that you might otherwise have missed just doing a free version.

There are only a few basic requirements for the shop:
• You must be filing a personal tax return (can include dependents/family)
• Forms needed are – 1040/1040EZ/1040A OR 1099 INT/DIV/B/G/R if applicable. (schedule B/C are ok)
• If you owe money back or won’t receive a refund you are still eligible to complete this shop.
• Have a newer iPhone (iOS 12 or later) or an Android phone (version 7 or later) with the capability to use the GoSpotCheck App.
• You have all your forms and are ready to file.

Please only apply for this shop if you are ready to have your taxes prepared and are certain you can complete them in the time frame allowed. This is a time-sensitive program and re-scheduling is limited.
