A telephone call and Onsite visit to a daycare facility.
You are NOT required to sign up or enroll.
You must be able to pass as a parent or a grandparent, that has a child/grandchild of preschool age, as you will be visiting the facility.
If you have a child/grandchild, great! If you do not have a child/grandchild, you must act as if you do have one.
Keep in mind {in either situation}, you must act as if the child is between the ages of 2 and 5 {Daycare/Preschool age}, which means you should look the part {Parent or Grandparent} of somebody with children/grandchildren, within that age bracket.
You are shopping around for a school, for YOUR child {or YOUR grandchild}. Be sure to sound convincing. You may be asked about other intimate/pertinent details about the child; therefore, you should be prepared. Make sure that you have the child’s birth date ready and make sure it matches the age of a child starting Preschool.
You must ask to make an appointment to go and tour the school facilities.
When you take the tour, you will be evaluating the facilities and the services provided, as well as how you felt like a potential customer visiting their facilities.
You must live in the general area of the school location OR indicate you work near the school location to sound legitimate as to why you would be using their daycare center. You can even indicate that you are moving to the area and are looking for daycare before you make the move, etc.
