I have some very quick and easy tobacco compliance shops all throughout the US.
If you do not use tobacco products you can still complete this shop!
The purpose of the assignment is to evaluate if direct retail partners ask customers for ID to confirm they are of legal age to purchase e-cigarette products and, where applicable, if they are willing to sell the product without an ID. You will be assigned 1 of 2 scenarios and must complete the shop as indicated.
Incentive pay added for route shoppers with 3 or more shops!
The survey is super short, simple, and easy to complete in about 5 minutes.
• You must be age 21-25 to participate.
• Visit your assigned retailer between 7:00am-11:59pm, unless there is a time restriction rule in place (e.g. a city-wide curfew). Check your shop confirmation for the address.
• Bring your ID with you. *Ensure your ID is fully concealed within a wallet or in your pocket before entering.
There are 2 scenarios – see shop instructions for which scenario you get
Red Card/Green Card Reveal Scenario: This is a pass/fail reveal shop. You will attempt to buy one NJOY ACE pod pack without ID. If you are asked for ID, you will promptly present the employee with a green card. If you are not asked for ID, you will promptly present the employee with a red card. No purchase will be made during the shop.
Purchase Scenario: This is a mystery shop. You will attempt to buy one NJOY ACE pod pack without ID. If you are asked for ID, you will indicate you do not have it. If the e-cigarette product sale is allowed without ID, you will make the purchase. If not, you will purchase a small item of your choice (up to $5) to get a receipt.
