Be Aware!! I just received in the mail a scam letter from SHOPPINGJOBS.COM a false Research Marketing company for Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Macy's, JC Penny or Target, along with a check for $2995.65 and all kinds of instructions. Included in the instructions was to send funds of $2450.65 to a New York address.

Yup. You are this week's "LUCKY WINNER". A whole lot of those going on, unfortunately. Just don't attempt to deposit the check or your bank will charge you when it bounces. And of course you recognize it as a scam from the thread title so I don't even need to caution you about not wiring anybody any money.

OH MY!!! I notice all the shopping companies have warnings on their pages to BEWARE!!

Please...........no ms company will send you a check and ask you to cash it and send them some $$ back. Sure some may send you a giftcard to use on a shop BUT it will always be a scam if you receive a check.

These scammers will use REAL MS company names on the checks......Service Intelligence had to deal w/this recently.
