Thanks Modario! Those are certainly good resources. Perhaps we should move this thread over to "New Mystery Shoppers" even though it is relevant to everybody. It is unfortunate that the web is used for deceipt and fraud all across the spectrum in addition to providing good and timely information. Weeding out the junk becomes a bit of a challenge and often time consuming.
My sister, a relative novice at the internet, still works on the assumption that if it is out there without an obvious likely reason to be fraudulent or inaccurate, it is probably true. Snopes.com does an excellent job of pointing out the 'real' story on stuff. Recently she forwarded along a 'how to save your life' in case you are alone and having a heart attack. Snopes had it on record already as a life saving method only if you really knew what you were doing and very dangerous to try if you didn't. Even seemingly well meaning stuff can be potentially deadly.
