Schedulers posting in the Job Forum

Most of you are excellent and honest. There are a few I take exception to. For those of you who post, "Jobs in your area", and there are only a few jobs in a few locations and only in a few states, you are the source of my heartburn. Is this a trick to get more Shoppers to view your posts? That is NOT an honest way to conduct business, is it? How about being a little more honest when posting jobs? Are you remotely capable of this? I wonder...

I certainly appreciate those who post state identification in their post name and city name where there are only a few locations. It shows their respect for my time.
mrcomputer, I was with you when you posted, "Most of you are excellent and honest. There are a few I take exception to." Then you had to go and ruin it by adding, "Are you remotely capable of this? I wonder..."

If you honestly meant "Most of you are excellent and honest", please consider a more positive way to make your query, so it doesn't sound so, well, mean-spirited.

I can only speak from my experiences and from my PMs with mrcomputer and, Irene, you are spot on.

That makes 2 of you who can go toggle your selves.

FYI there @#$%&, I have contacted many of these posters in an attempt to get them to correct this lying habit of theirs. None have shown an interest in doing so. I find the worst offenders work for Lori Kern. Why am I not surprised...

Please consider taking it private with the OP. I am not interested in reading highjacked posts with axes to grind against members, with no regard for the topic.

MrC, I chalk it up to laziness of schedulers who use this practice. Not just on the forum, but in blanket emails. I get email for shops in Hawaii, for crying out loud - regardless that my radius is set to 20 miles from home. (I shop the Carolinas.) Most major reporting platforms provide for schedulers to set parameters for emailing shops. Regarding the Job Board here, schedulers repeatedly posting shops across the world, with inaccurate hooks of 'shops in your area' could be toggled.

If any shoppers are so inclined, follow through with a PM to the scheduler informing them they're wasting shoppers' time, and that their inaccurate hook is not appreciated. We can't reply to the Job Board forum, but can name names elsewhere.
Mert. It is more than laziness on their part. I have tried PM's and emails. No Joy. It is something they feel like they can simply ignore. It is also something I would like to see stopped. I will be on the road next week. My travels will take me near 2 of the problem MSC's. I plan to stop by and take this issue up in person...

mrcomputer102, please stop calling me "@#$%&". As I've told you in PMs, it is very hurtful.

I find that amusing. You have bragged in open forum about how you are so proud to have that name.
I think it is time to have the Doc check your meds...

No, it is time that I made myself very clear. Do not ever call me "@#$%&" again.

I suggest forum members use the "Report" function when posts on our forum's job board are perceived to be false advertising. I have done that in the past and scammy posts have been removed. I admit I seldom read our Job Board because so many of the posts are misleading and most of what is posted appear to be the "dregs" ..... shops that have been advertised in e-mails and have been on Job Boards and no one has taken.

If enough forum members report misleading posts on the Job Board, perhaps they can be removed. If Job Board posts are removed, it might impact those who are posting misleading posts.
Interesting idea. I rarely look at the Job Board either, it's generally like looking at JobSlinger. A good tool to find out who shops whom. Occasionally a gem, but generally nothing but already-takens. I hope to hear how the mods respond to misleading schedulers.
I have found which MSC's shops certain places which has been helpful to me. Never found a job but there is some information available.

Jeese. I can just imagine the pretty puppies you 2 would make. If you have nothing to contribute to the topic, how about taking your online dating somewhere else...:p
