Oh, I'm supposed to be embarrassed? The triangles get me every time. (smile)

The only difference between you and me, LJ, is that I do not click on "Remember Me", since I'm hoping that the next time I return, Jobslinger will have completely forgotten about what a long process it was the last time I was there. smiling smiley

Apparently we do, Kimmiemae. How many sides does a circle have? LOL

Too funny, Still. You just said that to make me feel better, so thanks. winking smiley

LJ, I speak the truth. I'm as stupid as you and dang proud of it! smiling smiley

Starting Monday they are going to get real tough.
Going to have you count to 3. Better start practicing
now.

Lucky for me I have 5 fingers on my left hand so I can count to 5! (I have to use my other hand to point to each finger as I count.)

I think I'm good; I was up to 4 a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for the heads-up, techman!

A circle had 2 sides - one inside and one outside.

Maybe I'm not the best one to help you with this...

Kim
Oh. MY. God. smiling smiley

Please don't tell me you actually picked the *wrong* shapes... just that you missed one of the right ones? Maybe?

And that's just their standard error message for being wrong in general? Perhaps?

I mean, I've missed a triangle now & then (for some reason the triangles are always most difficult, there must be some neurological reason for that) but I can't remember if I got the "wrong shapes" reply. I'll have to try this again and find out. smiling smiley

Since you asked, I sometimes just click through too fast. I use a wireless mouse with my laptop so I zip through pretty quick and I think I just clicked the blank space beside the shape and hit "go" before I noticed. I get this message a lot because of that. I just posted the pic because I thought it was funny and I wanted to give others a laugh. I knew they'd rise to the occasion and provide some excellent zingers.

But thanks for ruining the joke by making me explain. Double thumbs up for your inquisitiveness, Storm. the finger smiley

Suuuuure... *that's* how it happened. winking smiley

But of course we'd oblige!

And, the picture was @#$%& hilarious... I almost fell outta my chair laughing. Seriously! (Although a little bit of that may have been the vodka, but whatever.)

So... I went to try it out... and I got it to say that too! Which made me laugh all over again. Just by 'forgetting' one of the triangles.

However... how come it always just does triangles? The first time I logged in, I forgot I was there for an experiment, and actually correctly clicked all the triangles. So I logged out and back in... triangles again. I logged in and out a few times, just to see... and always the damned triangles.

Don't these people like squares?

You are not alone. I do that also and I don't know why.

Are we slowly going insane here? winking smiley
HAHAHA - has happened to me but I am usually too embarrassed to take a picture - good to know that I am not the only one.
At least they don't ask you to click on the toddlers rendition of a triangle or a circle and a square. Could be worse click on only the chartreuse colored shapes.
uhmm I thought we covered that little emoticon some time back. Those are not thumbs up! Those are uhh middle fingers... So who is flipping who over here?

Just lost trying to find a fire pit in a concrete jungle wishing it was a wooded glen...

if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all
lol, I've had that message. Those shapes are very fuzzy and hard to distinguish! Maybe I need new glasses.
Actually, I think they should replace it with an easier test. I mean really. smiling smiley

...

all i can say is i logged into Jobslinger... (i use facebook so i dont get annoyed by the login thingy) and saw 160 jobs posted in my area...and then saw that 130 of them were 7 different bank locations along with the 20 other repeats... and was really annoyed... usually there is 60 or so with 20 junk posts...

It's OK. LJ is one of a *very* limited number of people who can get away with that. smiling smiley

Actually, Still, I'd like to see them make it more useful. How about a test where you have to choose the correct word in their sample sentence and the choices are: your, you're, yore or their, there and they're? If you can't pass it, you'll have to keep taking it until you learn the dang difference or don't get any jobs. winking smiley

I think your onto something! I swear some people don't realize their is a difference. smiling smiley

He was a knight, night or nite on King Aurthors round table. Have seen all three used by different people.
The only reason I don't use JS is because I can't get past pick the shapes.

If I manage to get past the shapes. The jobs are all over the place. I do mean all over the place. I drive in TX so mileage isn't a huge deal. But I'm not driving to Wisconsin for $5.

It's a great idea, but needs fine tuning.
