Insurance inspections

Does anyone know of companies that use independent contractors for inspections? Onsource is the only one I know of and the jobs are few and far between. I would like to do this on a more regular basis. Any info will be appreciated.

Ritter. Trendsource. Market Force. Many mscs do inspections.

Checkmate Inspections and GSC, a branch of Intouch Insight, are both super great! (Checkmate sends you a paper check within a few days!)

Would it be normal for Checkmate Inspections to email you their ICA to sign and a W-9 form if you are not actually registered with them?

ETA: Are they one of the companies that does not allow you to register online and you must receive an "invite" from them? I am guessing that someone referred me to them.

Doesn't sound like Checkmate Inspections to me. If you PM me the originating email address, I can tell you for sure.

I just got an email from Checkmate to sign up today and am not so sure about all the information they are needing, but I have done a ton of business inspections for Trendsource and they are pretty easy and the pay is decent. But overall, Trendsource my favorite company to work with for both inspections and mystery shopping.

I asked:
"Hi Russ and Brandon,

On the Mystery Shop Forum, shoppers are reporting they are getting emails, requesting they apply to Checkmate Inspections and one shopper stating she received an unsolicited W-9 to fill out and an ICA Agreement to sign.

I just wanted to ensure these are legit and from either you guys."

Russ replied:
"We sent them out to people who contacted us on our website

Stilllearning, thanks for doing the research. I have been on the road all day and night. I do not remember contacting them but I will check my outgoing emails when I find my brain.
