Should GasBuddy be told.

I did three debranding assignments recently for local gas stations that have dropped their BP affiliation. I see GasBuddy still shows 2 of them as BP stations. It's no skin off my nose since I don't use BP gas, but I think the general public should be made aware on a site as popular as GasBuddy.

Just like it is an ICA violation to post photos and reviews on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Yelp, etc., I'm sure it is also breaking a violation to post to apps. Members of GasBuddy have the ability to update prices and other information through their account so I'm sure someone will update it soon. Best for you to stay out of it since it could be a conflict with your MS'ing job.
Since you were doing de-branding shops your findings are not yours to share with a third party. I understand it seems like a 'no harm/no foul' situation and a public service, but due to the nature of your visit that led to the discovery, I would not do it. I'm sure someone else will report it to GasBuddy or if you drive by the locations next week on your own dime and time, you could let GasBuddy know then.
