New year Resolutions for 2017.

I will take a vacation on my own and do a bit of work on my house. Saving money the coming year is a goal.
Continue taking care of my health, eating well and working on relationships..

Not strictly a new years' resolution, but it was my goal for my final year of school to put away $1,000 per semester after all my spending. My last day of classes is tomorrow and I succeeded for this semester! I even hope to exceed my goal next semester.

I'm also planning on continuing to work on relationships. I've been making an effort to take my friends out on mystery shop assignments to restaurants.

I'd also like to take more gym (workout) mystery shops... tongue sticking out smiley I'm actually very thin but I want to stay in shape and I really want a six pack!
I don't have any new year resolutions yet. Usually, I don't take new year resolutions rather I take an effort to make my each and every day beautiful.
Instead of making New Year's Resolutions, I make a list each month of my top priorities for the following month. That breaks big stuff down into manageable "bites," and avoids useless guilt when the "entire" resolution goal has not been met. So, in 2016, I had several bites of "lower energy usage at home." That got the attic insulation increased in one month, insulated blackout curtains added to some windows in another, etc. I expect to see the gains over the long haul. In other months of 2016 I chewed off chunks of paying for a special 2017 vacation. In all 12 months, so far, I have succeeded in not killing my brother-in-law.

Definitely want to work on getting the 25 lbs back off I put on this year. I got into a bit of a blue phase funk when I went from 12 hours on my feet to 12 hours at a sit at home/stand at home desk. I'm not particularly big-- still around 150-155 lbs and 5'7" but it would be nice to get back to the 125-130 range I was hanging out in for the last ten years.

LOL. Unfortunately for me, that's the only kind of six pack I have right now!
I don't have 'resolutions'. I have 'guidelines'. I do not print them. grinning smiley

Well, I went to the doctor for my annual physical and she scolded me for not getting my 10,000 steps on my Fitbit. I've slacked off. Now i'm lucky if I get 6,000 steps. My New Years Resolution is to get 10K steps at least 4x a week. Fingers crossed.
Here are my standard resolutions since 1980:
Maintain order.
Practice tranquility.
Be kind and caring.
Support friends and family.

Here are my 2017 specials:
Write more, four hours per day seven days a week when not on the road.
Work a lot less, quantified as less than 50 shops per month average.
Lose weight, quantified as two pounds per month.
Save more, quantified as X dollars per month more.
Eat ice cream, not much, once per week.

Is quantified a word? Now it is.

New year resolutions are resolutions, usually made for not to fulfill; not only in my case, but it is so in everybody's case.
2017 I am focusing on my financial picture. I tend to spend too much! I am going to save money and pay off my bills. I am off to a good start and January looks promising so far...fingers crossed XXX

@Jay C, can I be a stowaway in your luggage? I'll pay the extra weight charge since I weight more than 50 lbs. But I am flexible! smiling smiley
Hobbes: "Did you make any resolutions for the New Year?"

Calvin: "Heck no.I'm fine just the way I am! Why should I change? In fact, I think it's high time the world started changing to suit me! I don't see why I should do all the changing around here! If the New Year requires resolutions, I say it's up to everyone else, not me! I don't need to improve! Everyone else does!

How about you? Did you make any resolutions?"

Hobbes: "Well, I had resolved to be less offended by human nature, but I think I blew it already."

I want to reach a weight goal of 210 pounds. I went from 180 to 190 in 4-5 months from working out at home. Now I want to get a gym membership soon so I can do some more serious workouts. I plan to do a lot of biking and kayaking when the spring starts so it will help with keeping me lean. I'm paying close attention to what I eat because proper nutrition is key.

I merchandise for a living covering days off. Two weeks ago I pointed out to my supervisor that I finished merchandising the store in 45 minutes and spent 90 minutes cleaning up our back stock area. He replied "That's why we have you covering his days off."

My resolution is going great so far. I have knocked off 1-1 1/2 hours a day at work by not cleaning up after my coworkers. I am starting to like getting paid per store.
This year I resolve to get back in physical condition to be able to out-run more goats and gas station managers, to find less dead bodies in bushes and to try to become a know-it-all like my sister in law.

I'm not a huge alcohol drinker in the first place and most of the wine I make is going to friends/family.
