Completed Shop A Day Early - Good or Bad?

Hello everyone I'm a newcomer to Market Force and I made the mistake of not looking at the date on my first day. The assignment is for tomorrow not today, which is what I did wrong. Conducted my shop today. It's my first shop does anyone know if Market Force will drop me for this and hopefully on a good note would they accept the early submittal and pay me? #beginnersbadluck

I presume you haven't entered the report yet? See if you can reschedule it to today's date then enter the report.

Have you already done the report? If not, you have two choices: Try to reschedule for today before you enter the report or redo the shop tomorrow if it can't be rescheduled.

If you have already done the report, don't panic yet. The shop may or may not be approved. I've seen it go both ways. If you get an email from QC, respond calmly and politely, not in an argumentative way. Best case, the shop will just be accepted. Second-best, QC will question you, scold you, and accept the shop. Worst case, the shop will be excluded and you won't be paid. But you will almost certainly not be dropped for one bad shop. It usually takes 3 mistakes, or more, depending on who you talk to and how serious the mistakes are.

One thing to keep in mind with MF: Fly under the radar as much as you can. The fewer times you have to talk to QC about possible mistakes and/or questions with shops, the better off you will be. This is JMHO, but, having shopped with them for 7 years, this is what I think I've learned.
Marketforce has recently posted multiple messages warning that early completions are not acceptable. Apparently you aren't the only one having this issue. Because MF uses pick dates instead of date ranges, the assignment MUST be done on the assigned date, not before. You can call and try to change the date, but likely they are going to ask you to reshop it.
I don't work for MarketForce, but I couldn't do a job last week, was pouring and it was outside. I wrote immediately and was told "not to worry", they'll work with me, doing it today, but Mercantile is a great company,
and I've been with them 10 years having more than proven myself, so good luck, one day shouldn't matter, however, being a newcomer may effect your status. Good luck.

Live consciously....

I'll take a Merc assignment over MF any day!
No luck on changing the early shop to the day I went, which created a loss for me. Welp I a newby so this is a lesson learned for me. I let the Market Force scheduler know this and she said there was nothing she could do, but I could take another shop for the next day. I didn't get that part because it's still money lost. Again I'm a newby so lesson learned on that one for sure.
Unfortunately the planner would not allow me to do that because she said it had already been assigned to another mystery shopper for that day.
You are absolutely correct about their emphasis on not shopping early. It was clearly stated and it was definitely my error. I was so excited with that being my very first shop. I will definitely pay closer attention to the dates. As you said and I agree, it would be great if there were date ranges.
I got that vibe immediately about flying under the radar with them. Thanks for confirming what I felt from the get go.
Maybe you could put in your phone your shop dates. Set up alarms. And carry your shop CPI/invoices with you to look at before starting your shop, in your car.
