Charcoal grilled chicken thighs marinated in pesto, grilled peaches and roasted asparagus. Maybe some Meyer lemon cookies for dessert, or an appetizer. I'm awfully hungry and the fire isn't ready yet!

Wow that all sounds so good. I had to have something that was a quick throw together so I made black bean nachos with Mozzarella and home made salsa. We have leftover strawberry rhubarb pie that is tormenting me.

I just had a perfectly ripened avocado chopped with a perfectly ripened tomato. They were sprinkled with some green onions and a spoonful of cottage cheese. I had a handful of corn chips with it. Really good.

Braised chicken thigh with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, asparagus sauteed in olive oil and garlic, a little red wine and one chocolate chip cookie.

I made bg's chili recipe, it was delicious.
I made a ton of garlicky sauteed asparagus last night and will fold some of that into angel hair pasta with lots of pesto sauce. If the last of the tomatoes on the counter has survived, I may chop that up to add. Or, maybe I will saute a few shrimp to add. I am hooked on pesto pasta for summer suppers, I think.

Early supper, hungry and have been too busy to cook. I'm having a grilled cheese with sliced jalapenos and an orange with some iced tea.
Put a tri-tip in slow cooker with black beans, tomato's for taco's/burrito's all weekend.

Cooking today! Beef Stroganoff in the crock pot for dinner. Maybe some roasted carrots and another veggie for dinner. Fresh rye bread baking, homemade italian wedding soup will be done just in time for lunch. Old bay and pretzel cookies for dessert.
