Steak, hash browns, green beans, blueberry muffins

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away
I"m grabbing a lemon chicken from the rotisserie at Walmart (they really have the best deli chickens) and a bag of coleslaw. I guess I'll bake a loaf of bread. I don't eat it but it makes the wife happy. Really really happy.

I enjoy awkward questions and uncomfortable silences. This gas station pavement is $%^@*#& hot.
Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, spinach

BLTs with fresh tomatoes from the garden...melted Vermont sharp cheddar cheese, local lettuce, red onion, garlic mayo-brown mustard, on toasted onion rolls. Kettle chips from mystery shops, LOL.
Pasta with homemade red sauce: Italian-style meatballs, filet mignon chunks, baby portabella mushrooms, red onion, roasted garlic, and fresh herbs from the garden. I used fresh tomatoes and tomato paste for the sauce base. It's been in the crockpot for 3 days on low. Mmmmmm.....
Store bought BBQ'ed Chicken (sorry), mashed potato's and a lovely mixture of squash's grilled. Dessert is lactose free ice cream shake, strawberries and drizzles of dark chocolate. Jas...you win this one.....

Chicken Che Guevara That is a recipe of my own for chicken with black beans and (brown) rice, so named because it is revolutionary (low salt) and only pretending to be Cuban. Crusty French bread for mopping up the lovely juices.

Yesterday I made slow cooker beef stew with veggies and gravy, knowing that it would be even better today. (Last night was a hotel room picnic, lol.) So tonight, stew with some crunchy garlic bread and red wine.

I made beef stew in my Instant Pot for the first time (usually make it in the slow cooker) and it came out great.

Made a casserole with leftover turkey, egg noodles, cream of mushroom soup, mustard and cheese. Got the recipe from a blog, TheSeasonedMom. I love her recipes, very quick and easy.
