Car Accidents Lately

Twice in the last month I have driven up on/been in traffic for accidents that involved a death. The first accident was a 26 year old woman who was hit by another vehicle and forced off the road. The second was an older man in a truck hauling a heavy load and was taken off the road during a wind storm. Both gave me goosebumps as I saw the tarps and veils trying to hide the scenes while investigators, police, and camera crews did their work.

It's tough to have to reschedule my day around these things and write to schedulers and businesses, but I can't imagine how tough it will be for these families and friends of these individuals. :/ I was stressing about losing $12-$25 as I was in traffic before realizing what had happened, but these people lost their lives and I can't imagine the stress of those it will impact. Makes my pittance of cash seem silly and if I get flakes or any negative feedback, I'm going to shrug it off. Just wanted to share my day and the accident I drove up on today. Kinda bummed me out the rest of the evening even though I didn't know this person from Adam.

Wow...that is a rough day...and super brave to be so honest too. Certainly puts things in perspective. Hope your days are better.
It's was morbid and chilling. I thought it might have something to do with driving by a major University but I remembered it was Spring Break after noticing the lights of all the emergency vehicles.

Yeah, it puts things in perspectives for sure. Most of the things we do, like mystery shopping and getting a starbucks, are minor compared to what you saw. So, these MS companies should not give you a hard time. I hope what you saw doesn't weigh too heavily on you.
Oh wow. People go out for their day to day, and that one moment ends their lives. You had to see that, or some part of it.

It's kinda scary. Usually with a wreck, you figure someone T-boned someone else, or they were texting and driving or someone made bad decision but occasionally it's the weather or something else. It was a dreary couple of days. The one where I saw the body bags and tarps gave me physical goosebumps and I imagine others too because traffic suddenly slowed down 15-20mph for several miles.

Sorry to hear that you came upon such accidents. You know, if people practiced safe driving, there would be less accidents on the roads. I'm talking about those idiots who think they own the road, make unsafe lane changes, tailgating someone to make them speed up/change into the next lane or think they belong in a fast and the furious movie.
Car accidents can be sad but they are a part of modern life. After dealing with so many, one just goes into auto mode.
I haven't been in an accident, but do notice a high number. lately. I heard helicopter's above my house, and
sure enough a bad accident and a death...third one in my town....scary.

Live consciously....
So sorry to hear about these tragedies. It's hard to be a witness to it and the aftermath. I've come to consider myself lucky to be stuck in traffic rather than be the cause of it.
