RIP Chuck Berry

AP said it well. He was a rock and roll visionary.

Oh wow. I hadn't heard about this. Lisa, thank you for posting it!

Get your flu shot...because I didn't!
Mine are Rock and Roll Music and No Particular Place To Go. It was only about 18 months ago when I ran into him at the gas station. Eighty-nine and still driving. I should add and still rocking. He had a monthly gig through at least 2014.

"Oh, Maybelline, why can't you be true? Oh, Maybelline, why can't you be true? / You done started back doing the things you used to do.................." RIP, Chuck Berry!
I saw Chuck Berry in concert twice- the second time was several years ago. His band included both his daughter and son, which I thought was nice.

Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product. Eleanor Roosevelt
Having graduated in 1955, I grew up with Chuck Berry in the late 50's. Maybelline, why can't you be true, those were the good ole days, king of rock and roll......many good times remembered, I kept those old 45's and albums.. Johnny Mathis sang at our high school dances before being discovered and lived around the corner from us, still remember ""Chances are"......need I say more.

When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping....
