What are you doing today? (besides shopping)

Sitting with my knee propped up. I didn't even realize my quadriceps femoris tendon had an issue, there's no pain, but it's very swollen.

Wow hope it's nothing serious. I'm trying to decide whether to go listen to music and podcasts in bed or stay up for awhile. I wanted to binge on Shitts Creek but Ann fell asleep.
Yes, they do. I was done day before Christmas with the actual class. I received an email sometime after that the diplomas would be mailed starting Jan15th i think. I got mine towards the end of January.

kimmiemae, does SNHU send out the diplomas? I don't know what to do from here.

Hope that doesnt develop into something worse. Boy would this be a bad time to have something go wrong.

I did a lot of bottom shelf merchandising in the squat position for about a month straight, up and down, up and down. I felt it in my right hip, oddly, but I didn't put two and two together. It's getting better already.

Years ago I could bounce back easily. I forgot I'm not 40 (or 50) anymore, LOL!
Feel better jas....I've been listening to youtube and the oldies but goodies music like Johnny Mathis, Frank and all the greats....social phone stuff and lying in the sun, weather is amazing.

Live consciously....
Can you massage it out? Tendons are a bear to heal.

@honny..take it from one who knows...breaking up an unhealthy relationship gives you back your power.....heal and move on. I met the love of my life at 68yrs. young, after a
couple relationships that were fun, but not the real thing, and a divorce of years, and it was worth the wait. Independence and power should not be ignored.

Live consciously....
I went for a long hike this morning. A little while after I came home, I got carb coma tired and took a nap. I woke up hours later only to find out that I was asleep for 20 minutes.

I downloaded an audiobook to motivate me to walk in the mornings.

No, it's inflamed, level 2, no massage for awhile. I'm icing the quad and elevating my knee. Actually quarantine is a God send. I'll be implementing safe stretches in a few weeks and I'll be ready to go back to work, whenever that happens.

My favorite thing about Schitt's Creek was the billboard, LOL!

We had a virtual family party to celebrate Middle Son's birthday.

Someone I admired passed away, and since only 10 people are allowed at the funeral, they set up a zoom view, will get to hear services from my email. Different kind of life.

Live consciously....
Finished state and federal taxes and filed; unplugged kitchen sink using Draino and boiling water; prepared paperwork to file for MS homestead property tax reduction for moderate income seniors; ordered stamps from USPS; made biscuits for brunch and froze extras.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Watching the final season of 'Pie in the Sky' slowly. Perhaps I can make it last until Sunday or Monday. I will miss it. Gazing at newly re-arranged kitchen. Eventually, I will dare to step back in and mess it up again. For now, I am just noticing where to put the touch-up paint (which I should have finished last summer).

I saw Blueberry Cheerios in the market this morning. I'm still drooling.

You didn't buy them?

I did not. I'm making a big attempt not to buy any snacks.

I just had to gobble up the last season of 'Pie in the Sky' yesterday. Now, I am satisfied (and wistful because I really like that show) and ready to focus on three projects. If I start now, I will have time to read a book later.

Today I am binge watching Desperate Housewives. I might empty my dishwasher so I can fill it up again.

I had a WeGoLook shop today, it was taking pictures outside, no contact with anyone. Went to my empty office and worked a little. Very quick trip to the grocery store soon, then home and cooking and feeding the chickens. It is a wet, rainy weekend.
Feeling bored with Netflix. Last week, signed up for a free month of Hulu and watching Seinfeld again. @ceasesmith, your stories from the trenches is the real reason I got a craving for Seinfeld!
I have a couple of boxes in my pantry; I have had them before, I am just not a big cereal eater. I got them for my husband (who is pickier than I am) and he didn't eat them, he asked me for regular Cheerios. I do have some Chobani oat milk in the frig. Maybe I should open a box and give it a go. I wouldn't really call that a snack food, it's breakfast.

I sold my husband's unused exercise bike on Facebook Marketplace.

I listed another set of dumbbells on Nextdoor and Facebook Marketplace.

I made a package of supplies (flour, oatmeal, tea, tuna, crackers, and rice) for my 83 year old mother-in-law who was crying on the phone because she is scared. I will mail USPS on Monday.

I made a package for my son who is in northern CA at school. He is getting masks, Easter candy and cash.
Got the house really cleaned up and orderly too.

Oh I slept until 5:30 AM, my regular wake-up time for work (I'm off all weekend!) I went back to bed and slept until noon. Felt strangely guilty about not doing any shops or reports. Other than my surgery this winter, I have done a shop or report just about every day for over 20 years. I might have had 20 days off in 20 years.

Called and texted "old people" to check-in on them. Called one MSC owner to tell him that I'm sorry for what he is going through right now.

Packed up my eBay sales and got them ready to ship.

Pretty busy for a day off.
Grateful! wearing the next size smaller jeans and still breathing; have a little no-contact work to do every day; and ever hopeful for warm enough temperatures to support using outdoor workout equipment.

I reached out to my favorite schedulers to see how they are doing.

At 6 a.m.? I too am up much earlier than I wanted to be today.

Wondering how 100 thread posts in an Asian language have remained up for so long. I reported 1 and explained there were multiples, how long before the mods seer them and remove? Why do you suppose someone did that?

The mods removed them. What a PITA that must have been.
